I reckon Lescott may come here in a swap deal for either Walters or Crouch

I think he'd be perfect for what we're looking for assuming his form hasn't dropped off a cliff

We need a right sided centre back surely?

If we sign Lescott, it makes even less sense of the sale of Huth.

According to most WBA fans, their best defender last season, but played out of position by........ guess who!!!
Cant see TP selling to Stoke unless he gets Walters.
I would be happy with that as a deal tbh.

Sorry, remind me who we have who's better than Lescott?

I think he'd do us a job while Ryan is out personally, unless we can get better in. Solid pro IMHO.

We need a right sided centre back surely? Yeah, unless he comes as cover for Munie/Pieters with their records of injury. If he came as a starter, either him or Muniesa will be handicapped badly by playing on the right. And if he plays left side with Cameron/Wolly/Wilson right side then were in the same problem!!

Sorry, remind me who we have who's better than Lescott? Only Shawcross, who is injured. I'd want a centre back even if he wasn't injured though.

He paid £20+ million for him last time I think! This could have legs and makes sense too as cover. Personally a great signing in my opinion

Why do people always assume to left footed centre halves can't play together, but right footers can? Lescott is exactly what we need to cover Ryan's injury.

I rate him would be an excellent short term solution. A swap with Walters would suit both clubs especially as he can play LB too.

Good signing in my opinion, good cover for Ryan, who lets face it, even when he comes back will not be the player he once was, and this 2 month guestimate, well, it is just that, a guess...

Don't really rate him but our centre of defence needs experience and it could be a great signing overall.
On a "take over the rest of the contract" style freebie it could be very astute.

If we got him we'd surely look to shift Bardsley out as quickly as possible, freeing up Cameron as first choice back up for right back and for centre back (in Shawcross' absence).

By the end of the Christmas matches, there is a high likelihood that three of our CBs will be injured/suspended - that's just the way it is with CBs. If it is the wrong players, our defence really will be porous -right now if just Muniesa were not available I would be worried. One thing we learnt from Pulis is that you can't have too many CBs .
