Isn't that what Moses wanted to do as well?

Isn't that what Moses wanted to do as well? yes, which is fine by me. The attitude I would want from any player.

Best winger we have had here for last 20 odd years. Can't blame him for wanting to stay at Chelsea for the honours, but London based players do have this strange fascination with that shithole. London is the city of his birth and it's also a city that has massive sway over any young person ( not just footballers ) due to everything that goes with it and the social scene Ifs why WHU and even Fulham a few years ago get many of their targets over cities like Stoke Hull etc Sadly that's the reality Living in London hasn't stopped Crouchy playing for us for the past few years.

Yesterday showed how important it is that we get a third winger with some pace.
Arnie had a poor game, double marked throughout and we lost the only threat we had by shunting diouf out to the left.
Diouf ran them ragged and their systematic fouling of him helped them keep the stranglehold they undoubtedly had on the game.
Moses would be a great acquisition as would yarmelenko

Super disappointing but not a surprise. Did he truly ever want to be here?

He can spend time with Carroll in the treatment room.

He's a great signing for any team outside the top 4.
Shame the London thing seems to have been a deal breaker.

I dare say Hughes would have known about this for a while, so whilst it was/is a last minute surprise for us it won't be for them.
One thing is for certain, we need a left winger or one man who can play both wings to cover for Shaqiri and to compete with Arnie.

We'd need to buy him wouldn't we? So, that could be part of the reasoning.

We won't be signing anyone else.
Hughes has made that clear.

Moses looking promising but loan deal not done yet. We're also in a tug of war for Hernandez (little pea) with Leverkusen.
Lennon was also in the mix, as is Adebayor but think this is more noise to force the other deals through and wind Levy up.
Jelavic is also looking likely and expect Jarvis, Amalfitano to leave before window shuts.
Before anyone wonders why we're in for so many front players - we only have Sakho (who's got some issues) and Elliot Lee and yesterday had 5 teenagers on the bench - two of which came on. Valancia, Carroll, Zarate all injured.
Song is back in London and will also join if passes 2nd medical following surgery for floating bone apparently - he's basically a big risk for the money but still hope we get him.

Something clearly not right he was ours to lose and we have and this just makes for further endorsement of a shambolic window .

Right Benj, bookmark this thread, at the end of the season come back and tell us how many 90 minute appearances he has made and confirm who finishes the highest. Ours to lose my arse. Never ours, or Liverpools, he's a London boy and there he will stay.
