Joselu uses the ball really well. looks good doesn't he? I only saw the highlights of the Everton game but some of his touches were excellent. Same again since coming on today. Really good feet he seems to has for a big guy. He's rapid as well by all accounts. He might not end up scoring loads but his ability to bring others into the game may be the perfect answer with our front 3 behind him.

Moha has never played more than youth football, lets not heap expectation on him. Ta! "La twig" managed to stay in one piece though Bayern.

Really liking the look of Moha. Only downside is that he forces Arnie out to the right. I wonder if he could be coached to be inverted like Arnie so he could play on the right? If we can get a quality right winger in, then we would have Moha as cover for Arnie on the left and Odem/Walters as cover for the new guy. I'd hope thats what Hughes has in mind Paul.

I hope Arnie starts the season in this fashion, looks in top form.

Think we can be well pleased with this trip.
Great PR, two clean sheets, a win and some encouraging performances.

I'm sure the Singapore XI have the physicality of most Premier League footballers. I still don't get why people don't think he'll be bulked up. He clearly will because he does look so scrawny. You only have to look at what we've done with Muni and Bojan to get the balance right with it. It'll be the same with him. That's pretty obvious.

I prefer Muni at CB, but him and Arnie do seem to link together well.

Moha looks like a great bit of business. Odem looked better the last 5 mins before he went off, 2 clean sheets.
Granted, the opposition were poor, but overall i'm pretty happy with that game/result.

I'm excited for the prospect of Arnie in his prime and a stronger Bojan steaming around for us.

We definitely need a new right winger. Odemwingie has lost his pace

There are times when Stephen Ireland gets stick off Stoke fans but watching him play today it is very easy to see the quality of his very early passes which can open up defences. He is a great player to have in our squad. I also thought that Muniesa had a great game. What really stood out today was that in Muniesa, Arnautovic, Joselu, Van Ginkel and Ireland we are acquiring players that in periods can take teams apart with their passing and movement. Very entertaining to watch! The future is looking bright!

Wingie will need more time to get fit, the injury and his age are against him but i think he'll come good, just have to remember that he has been injured since the Man City game, no fitness, very little training
It's still very early days for him coming back so i reckon he'll come on massively before the start of the season with no setbacks

Odem just seems really rusty as expected. It's only pre-season and they are clearly trying to put some miles in Odemwingie's legs but confidence is such a massive thing. Not necessarily in his ability but in his body following his injury. He's got through the games he's played with relative ease. A goal, even in a friendly, would be a massive boost to his confidence and his mental well-being. Writing him off at this stage is premature. Absolutely it's disappointing to see a few writing him off already he clearly needs a bit of time.
