Should have had four or five easily.
Good to be getting into these positions.

Happy with this today. It's all about fitness and yet we could still have had six goals quite easily. Loads and loads of positives out there. Yeah not worried about the finishing. Good phases of play that are creating chances is very encouraging to see at this stage of pre season.

Odem just seems really rusty as expected. It's only pre-season and they are clearly trying to put some miles in Odemwingie's legs but confidence is such a massive thing. Not necessarily in his ability but in his body following his injury. He's got through the games he's played with relative ease. A goal, even in a friendly, would be a massive boost to his confidence and his mental well-being. Writing him off at this stage is premature. Yeah thats what I think Dave. We need to manage his recovery because you don't want to necessarily over expose him but the more games and time he has now the better really.

Moha's got a good first touch hasn't he?
And Joselu.

I think we should have released odem. Have we actually signed him or is he training with us

On this (albeit very small) evidence Moha looks capable of featuring more than we perhaps thought.

I'm very disappointed that my initial question about WHEN we think Odemwingie will get his sharpness back, has turned into a mini bitchfest against him.
Not surprised but disappointed.

Really liking the look of Moha. Only downside is that he forces Arnie out to the right. I wonder if he could be coached to be inverted like Arnie so he could play on the right?

It's gong to take time at his age and nature of injury. He's only going to be a but prt player this season anyway I reckon so this is all good for him.

Moha's got a good first touch hasn't he? And Joselu. Joselu uses the ball really well. looks good doesn't he? I only saw the highlights of the Everton game but some of his touches were excellent. Same again since coming on today. Really good feet he seems to has for a big guy. He's rapid as well by all accounts.

Really liking the look of Moha. Only downside is that he forces Arnie out to the right. I wonder if he could be coached to be inverted like Arnie so he could play on the right? If we can get a quality right winger in, then we would have Moha as cover for Arnie on the left and Odem/Walters as cover for the new guy.

People can moan as much as they want about Wingie but expect him to play in more or less every friendly fixture we have. They're about fitness and minutes on the pitch and he is getting both.
