Well, I've seen a couple of pics from Muddy Murphys and they seem to be enjoying themselves. I'd say they look happier than Chugga sounds at the moment.

Ignore him, Jimi, the prick's a bellend. Spent all of last season slagging off our away support & moaning that we don't take any fans anywhere.... Now he's slagging us off & moaning 'cos we have taken fans to Singapore!

Chugga hasn't been the same lad who left Alsager full of sunshine last summer. Went Ozzie Land to follow his dream of professional nogga down under, then it all came a cropper ... That c@nt Joe in Oz reneged on the setee offer and poor Chugga ended up in a yoof hostel under siege by "the gays" trying to get into his Harris... Needless to say he had trouble focusing during his trials with Melbourne Hearts and West Sydney Wanderers and came back to old Blightey a broken young man.

Words simply cannot express what an absolute great afternoon we had. Far too many to mention, but big up to Franklin and his lad, Dark Side, Obviously Jo in Oz, Tuum, Ely, MUMPH ( Who I thought was MUMF ) Ange, the lads with the tribute banner to your pal ( Lads...you are true supporters...) Seychelles, my god I just cannot remember all the names, I'd say at least 150 stokies came by today, and how good was the Delilah that we did for the sentinel, and Pete...Massive thanks for joining us...And it is Sevilla...Not Seville... Now....There is a rumour, and it is just a rumour, that on Saturday our very own Peter Coates may pop by and say hi, that would be awesome, also Tony Scholes, either would be great, both would be incredible. And to everyone who thanked me for organising it, all I did was put a suggestion on, and the fact that you all came was simply IMENSE. Lets see if we can emulate it, or even better it, and may I sugest for Saturdays game if it is not crowded we try to sit together and carry on the party spirit. You will notice that I have not mentioned the result. well that would sort of take the shine of a massive day for true stokies from literally every corner of the globe. My little chap absolutely loved it.....

And for the record I have so far not paid 10 quid for a pint. Far from it in fact. Me and the missus just stopped by Raffles, 38 quid for a Singapore sling. Fucking hell they are nice, especially after 4 of the fuckers. EACH..... But we then started on the Pinot Grigio's....18 quid a glass, or £80 quid a bottle...Necked 2 bottles and took one home...

Instead of swearing you can add your own language to my comments......Well, blow me down we have lost on penalties and we wont get the chance to play Arsenal in the final but this is pre season! Remember the days of non league warm-ups? Progressing to the odd Spanish or Italian clash? and now progressing to massive publicity opportunities playing in Asia which the 'big guns' have been exposed to for many years.
This is about Stoke creating and promoting ourselves to the wider audience and it includes the fans! Stokies are the beez neez, promote our culture far and wide. Before you ask, no I'm not religious except when it involves Stoke! The away trip is also about bonding everything together within the new signings and current players. I would sooner have fun in Singapore and mess things up than do it in the Prem!
For me, I am in HK and due to fly out tomorrow but I do so in the knowledge and anticipation that this is the building blocks of the 2015/16 season and not a life and death shoot out like some would think. Of course I'm disappointed and I initially thought 'oh, a 3rd place play off v the Select XI but this is pre-season. End of.

Just like to add my thanks for those helping to make this day memorable for many. We are hoping to get a couple of senior staff from the club down on Saturday if possible. It was great to meet so many more Stoke fans today and whilst I am gutted we lost on pens and will not be able to Just "make up the numbers" v Arsenal on Saturday, it has been great so far. Looking forward to the next few days. See you on Saturday. Song of the day for me has to be I wanna go Rhyl !

I'm glad you enjoyed your day mate, however I don't really think it's necessary to ram your prosperity down the throat of someone who may not be doing quite so well. I haven't read the whole thread and so I am not clear on how much grief scfc2014 has given you but I am pretty sure he is a Stokie who probably tries to follow his team as often as he can. Life in Stoke is pretty tough financially for many Stokies right now many of whom have to choose between getting to a match now and again or treating their kids. Showing off how much you've spent in a day (tongue in cheek or not) seems to me to be more in keeping with Arsenal fans. I hope you enjoy the game and the day on Saturday.

Tongue was firmly in cheek mate, but I do not take a single word of it back. He is an absolute cunt of the highest order. But having said that I am sure he is winding us all up, but fuck him And for the record I have saved like mad for this trip and have certainly not indulged in any of the opulence mentioned.
