I'm not jealous at all if you want go all that way to watch a friendly, eat shit food and pay way over the odds for ale your welcome to it. The shit food I bet you love a £2.99 carvery or a wetherspoons breakfast or 'boot leather (steak) specials night'

You are a knob, the reason I wouldnt go all that way to watch a friendly is its daft when theres friendlies going on closer to home, and if you pay ten quid a pint then you are dafter than I thought Shit food? The wind up comes undone.

I think that you need to travel. Even a walk around the block would help. personally understand where you're coming from, both a a wind up and if genuine - been doing friendlies since the mid late 70's , until recently many people held your view , most in truth still do...but increasingly Stokies who can afford ( or as in my case can't really , but make it happen each year regardless of where they go ) are being bit by the bug..a chance to travel to places that many wouldn't touch otherwise. its not for everyone, not least because this season has been a piece of piss logistically to sort , get info on..it's not always like that try it once , Cologone perhaps , cheap as chips , if after that you decide it's not for you at least you'll be talking from experience

Does anyone know if kids are allowed at Muddy Murphy's? I have two lads aged 9 & 10. I was hoping to meet up with some fellow Stokies before the game but it would be easier to have my wife and kids with me as we are all heading out to the game.

I asked the manager yesterday and he said yep. My lad is 3 and he's going.

Have a cracking time you lot! My Mum and Dad have gone over this morning and land midnight UK time, or 0800 Singapore, stop off in Munich this morning, told him and the old fruit to make for Muddy Murphys on Wednesday, you'll probably hear my Dad before you see him, have a belter you lot anyhow, I'll have to make do with SKY!

Fri night gonna take the bride for nice meal in the Hyatt....Guess where the team are staying...yup...the Hyatt. That's just up the road from Muddy Murphy's. Why not get pissed up on Orchard then have a few more at the 4 floors of whores and finish off serenading the team at 3am in the morning outside their hotel windows.. I can bring the loudhailer.
