Personally, I've made a decision to join in more discussions next season related to tactics. Currently I avoid most discussions on formations, number 9s, false number 9s, etc, mainly because I have little input to give. I generally judge a game as I see it on TV and look more at individuals rather than the collective. However, I plan to do a spot of reading on the subject over the summer and I expect there will be some exciting and totally non-boring or repetitive discussions with Rob and Paul as of August.
Aside from that I consider myself an all-rounder from a poster perspective and don't feel any improvement elsewhere is necessary. I'm calm, collected, factual, fair, humourous on the odd occasion, embarrassing in others, I can take banter, I can give banter, I don't jump down players necks after 1 bad performance, and I'm most definitely in the top 3% of the all-time cool and respected posters lists.
Most importantly though, I'm humble and always open to criticism and other peoples opinions. E.G. If someone says 'Foster, you're an absolute cunter with a tiny cock and no balls!' then I respect that. I really do. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, even if they're worth less than mine and totally wrong.
Anyone else got a next seasons resolution?...Surely every poster on here has room for improvement? Whether it be do with reactions to news, reactions to other posters, your posting style, etc..

On the match day threads I will endeavour to avoid reading Joe's posts until at least 2 mins after he's posted.
Bugger kept posting, "goal", whilst my stream had us taking a throw-in in our own half... ;-)

Can we please give our new signings a bit of time to settle in before judging them?
We had one bell end writing Pieters off at half time on his debut at Liverpool, dick heads starting threads slagging off MBD after his second game at Hull, and plonkers writing off Bojan after a hand full of appearances (I contributed to one, I'll shamefully admit)

I use the oatcake to vent a few frustrations, praise our team, bait people about our ex-manager, see what bullshit is posted about new signings and join in the general banter. I'll leave it to others, who like to think they know, to explain the intricacies of a 4-4-2 diamond shaped chrismassy type formation.
I'll add another - not to keep going on about how wank Glenn Whelan is, even when he's had a poor game.... which happens.... a lot.

Frankly, some of the responses on them suggest some people need serious medical attention. There's apparently a Ukrainian chap who might sign for us, who has gone from little known, to adored, to reviled in the small matter of 135 pages, despite him doing absolutely bugger all wrong, or promising to sign for us.
If i were him, i wouldn't go anywhere near us. Upon reading that, he would have to assume everyone connected with Stoke is a fucking pschycopath.
