Know what. Hughes and Eddy Neddy identified early on that Bego wasn't as good as he and others thought he was. Trust me we didn't fight very hard to keep him But he's still better than Jack. Yes....at the moment

Good luck Bego you're sure as hell going to need it if last seasons fuck ups are anything to go by, you might as well get used to sitting on the bench cause that's about as close to the action you're likely to get. Just one last thing for me to say - Thanks for nothing - now fuck off! Gouranga.

But he's still better than Jack. Yes....at the moment Bego is definitely a top keeper, but always had a feeling that Jack will become an even better one in time.

I never suggested we had not tried to spend actually my reservation which remains, is our capbility to get a next level player over the line in a competitve environment. We will have to materially overpay v some of the competition at this level and I remain to be convinced our team can put that deal together and convince the player .

Unfortunately, this happens all too often in football, where a player leaves a club and goes to a big team just to sit on the bench (if they are lucky) and pocket an absolute fucking wad. I bet Bego is going to be on twice the money there.

I bet he's kicking himself for not waiting a few more weeks. This is following the news of injury to Lloris at Spurs. He would've been guaranteed to start for the season ahead at a bigger club, who will almost certainly have a European campaign.

His indifferent season put him back I'm sure , all the talk of top clubs such as Real Madrid coming in for him just didn't happen

Can't understand why he has gone to Chelsea other than for the money. I still think De Gea will return Spain and Cassillas has gone to Porto and he would have been in with a good shout for both vacancies and been first choice keeper.

Real are about to sign another keeper so won't be after De Gea anymore.

Or course they are but he's chosen to play in the same squad as arguably the worlds top keeper . Not what was expected a year ago I'm sure

I suppose his people have always been in contact with Chelsea since Shrewsbury gate. I'm actually not surprised he ended up there all these years later, probably has wanted to be there the entire time. He is despised by Team Canada supporters in this country.

Chelsea are a top club. Not sure why we'd feel sorry for him. Or course they are but he's chosen to play in the same squad as arguably the worlds top keeper . Not what was expected a year ago I'm sure Seems strange considering you'd say he could make it into pretty much any other team in the league, maybe not past De Gea or the now injured Lloris. Fair play to him if he backs himself to beat Courtois to a place though, just not sure he's good enough.

Not sorry for him but disapointed his association with us has ended this way. Be intetesting to see if he makes it off the bench and if he doesn't, how long he stops

I don't feel sorry for him, if anyone thinks Asmir has moved because of ambition they are mistaken, it's all about the money. Being first choice would of been a bonus and would of been a clincher in him deciding to go ManU instead of Chelsea.

Another master stroke by Mourinho, sell a 33 yr old keeper who is past his best to one of your competitors for £11m and replace him with a better 28yr old for £8m. Wenger's pathological hatred of Stoke prevents him from doing the best deals for his own club.

If he had signed a new contract/contract extension Stoke would have got £6m more so having cost the club that made him into a world known footballer £6m why should I as a stokie of 52 years feel sorry for him?

I think begos better than him, and that he is nowhere near the best in the league!

Liverpool aren't the huge leap forward that he wants... He might as well have stayed here a few places below, guaranteed first team...

Feel sorry for him?
He manufactured his own move and took the first big money offer.
Mark my words, he will be playing for a Stoke City level club within 24 months, and he'll be absolutely fine with that after cashing in.
