I would prefer Ryan pin his mast to the Welsh side - get the chance to play with some genuine class players and a decent manager. If he played for Woy he would not know his left foot from his right by the time he came back of duty

And just to make sure everybody knows what a tool Hodgson is and how he picks his side, read this. www.theguardian.com/football/2015/jun/15/roy-hodgson-nathaniel-clyne-englandWhat manager ever says...? "it doesn't matter how good you are and that you're first choice for a successful side, we'll continue to pick the injury and error prone utility player who gets to play for Manchester United every three weeks or so in a completely different position'.

Jones who is not a natural full back and Gibbs who can't even get in the Arsenal team. That defence was awful against Slovakia or Slovenia or whatever nomark international team they were playing, they were lucky to conceded only 2 goals. I'm ashamed to say the owl has left me completely passionless about our national team and generally find it pretty torturous watching them.

If he played for Woy he would not know his left foot from his right by the time he came back of duty I agree, I think it's time for Ryan to give himself the opportunity of regular international football for his own sake. There again looking at it selfishly and from a Stoke City point of view its great for him to have downtime to get over injury and fatigue in the close season to come back refreshed and raring to go.
