Be a great gesture if the club reduced the match day prices to something like £25 for Cat B, £30 for Cat A and £35 for Cat A*. £45-£50 for a category A* fixture is a scandal for those unable to get a season ticket.... Tbh mate those category things piss me off Why should fans of Man Utd Liverpool etc pay more than WBA etc It should be one price and one price only Categories are another scourge on modern football Yep. And so are 'loyalty' points for away game. Or whatever they call it now.

No system is perfect but unless you have a better idea I suggest you shut the F*** up

God damn theres a bunch of whiny fuckers in this thread. Good job stoke. Helping the fans get in the ground that should be there. Increase merchandise and other means before gouging fans like the bigger clubs. Thankful for a sensible board and fan first mentality.

Yes Kustokie. Let's spend £8 million on another player in a massive squad when we have got millions sat on the bench or let everybody in for next to nowt. I know what I'd choose. If we had the balls we could make this happen and we would be getting over 40000 if we sorted the ground out!

Think its just a realisation that the gate receipts represent a small portion of income (gone are the days) but nevertheless it is once again a great gesture no doubt orchestrated by Mr Coates

I'm more interested in money being provided for Hughes next campaign as no doubt the ST freeze will be Stokes excuse as to why Hughes won't be backed "again". Send in a huge donation then. I'm sure they'll happily accept it

That does seem a bit ill judged. Can't remember how many months it was for, it was 12 though was it? Surely they could have run them one after the other it it wasn't?

Pretty sure my last[12th] payment is in April Jamo but if you don't renew until the 31st March how can they take the money in April for the new one because they have to give you a minimum of a months notice?

Surely they could have run them one after the other it it wasn't? If it is a 12 month payment period then the only way they can avoid the problem would be by having a 10 or 11 month payment period. If you have a 12 month period and delay the second year then you'd have the same problem the next year and have to delay it again and so on eventually you'd be paying a year in arrears! The moral is do what a lot of local authorities do with council tax - have it payable over just 10 instalments.

If I was selling ANYTHING on instalments I'd always go for 10 instalments - even the most mathematically illiterate person can work out that 10 instalments of, say, £38.80 comes to a total of £388 per year.

We have never averaged anything close to that in the history of our club and there have been times when we have been more successful than we are now. www.european-football-statistics.co.uk/attnclub/stkc.htm
