Tin hat on here. If Pulis was still here I think wed be pretty much in the same position as we are now. All be it with a back 8 Carlton Cole and Crouch up top

Every club promoted has had an increase in attendance's. Nobody is arguing that Pulis got us promoted. There were a few of you though that thought the only way we could go without Pulis, was down. Not your fault, being told we can't compete and punching above our weight every pre match interview wears you down. Now, we approach matches as if we can win them, we won't win them all but at least we'll try to. You didn't by the way invest over £40 a ticket on Sunday. did you to watch dominant control with two attempts at goal. Yep we approach every game as if we can win. With some exceptions as under TP some of the tippy tappy games we have witnessed have been as dross in a different way as under TP

We were sleepwalking our way down the table until he finally fookin' realised he needed to play Jerome and Adam. Would he have gone through with the changes he was bleating on about? We have no idea but I'm glad we never let him try.

WBA are struggling with the concept of 4 center backs. Keep moaning about them being too narrow. They are missing the point that it is more than likely the defensive wingers that are not doing thetheir job properly of filling in those wide positions. Can't see Brunt lasting longlong. Wisdom for right mid I reckon

Stokelad. Pisser. They have someone with a Gerry Francis avatar, complete with a Jimmy Saville-esque mane.

4 Centrehalves
Dawson Lescott Mcauley Olsson
Defensive wingers Baird and Wisdom
Two dogs of war in the cage protecting the back 4
A big strong defensive striker to win headers
A quicker big striker to feed off scraps
Your most skillful player on the bench A 'name' good egg player
You are Now ready for Pulisball

Are you seriously trying to convince people that there's little difference between the two overall? Or have I mis-interpreted your post? A poor performance whether tippy tappy or hoof ball are as bad as each other for entertainment value surely So you're only comparing the odd game and only poor performances at that? I found your initial post a bit ambiguous hence my question. A shit game is a shit game regardless of the type of football played, thing is under MH they're an exception whereas under TP they were the norm. I initially thought you were drawing parallels between the two different styles 'overall' (hence my use of that particular word) and was particularly gobsmacked that anyone, even the most ardent rimmer, would try to do that, obviously you weren't.

For those people who think taking Stoke into the PL and keeping them there was easy and any half decent manager could do it, tell that to the Chairman of : Derby/Middlesborough/Ipswich/Norwich/Wolves/Blackburn/Sheff. W./Birmingham/Notts Forrest/Fulham/Cardiff/Charlton/Leeds/Blackpool/Wigan. Dear Geoff321-who-obviously-knows-or-is-friends-with-Tony-Pulis. I don't think anyone would deny what Tony did, he was perfect for the siege mentality, don't get relegated at all costs mindset that was crucial if Stoke were not to fall out of the top league after waiting 23 years for the opportunity to compete at the highest level in England. However, there were many factors that also led to the success, not least the ferocious atmosphere in high pressure games, the Coates family backing Pulis with frankly eye watering sums of money and counter intuitively, the amount of teams frightened of playing at the Britannia Stadium. They were as frightened of the atmosphere, the location, the idea of Stoke as much as the tactics themselves. Tony was important but it wasn't just down to him and him alone.

Villa have made discreet enquiries to Pulis people according to the D.Express. They need him that's for sure.

imagine if he goes Villa. Can he save TWO teams from relegation in the same season? That would be pretty momentous even for Tone.
Maybe he can do the last 5 games of the season at Leicester and rescue them as well?
