@bokrkic I will be positive, I'll face it with a smile.. I promise u that I'll come back stronger than ever. Thks for ur love,I really appreciate it. I'm breaking up for him. He was finally happy and it's been ripped away. The best thing we can do is support him all the way. We must remind him that we haven't forgotten about him in a few weeks and that he's still our little genius. I hope his father is reading this thread and can see how much we're all hurting for him, because I am absolutely broken in half. Can a player come back from a cruciate tear and be better than? Apparently it can, it's happened in NBA. If Bojan has the desire, he will still be one of the best players we've ever had.

everyone calmed down a bit then now? Surprisingly I'm not as highly strung as most on here, it's happened, n a lot I can do about it, just hope we can fill the void until he returns. This, I'm gutted we will be without him for the remainder of the season but this is football and as frustrating as it is,players get injured, simple as. Hopefully he will carry on next season where he left off this.

Shearer did his in '92 and went on to be the Premier Leagues leading goalscorer ever! its devastating news and its taken some of the wind out of our sails, but i dont buy into the doom and gloom that'll he never get himsefl right/to how is now. i know lads that have done it and gone onto to fantastic sunday league careers!! and thats without the intensive medical care and rehab that Bojan is going to receive...and no one was talking this way about Pwingy...its totally shit that this has happended, but Bojan'll be back come September, firing on all cylinders again...

Coming from someone who has buggered both knees up , I don't think that this was a serious knee injury. ....just twisted it. Might miss one game at most. Thank God Dr Mumf is on hand to tell us just by looking at it-how bad an injury is??

It's turned what was promising to be a great season into a much less attractive prospect.
But if Moses and Arnie can hit form, it could still be great. Cup QFs eminently possible, relegation almost impossible, and top half finish very much on the cards.
Wouldn't it be ironic if Odemwingie was fit to come in for the latter stages, and have a Bojaneque impact?

Obviously a blow to the team, but desperate for Bojan himself. After 3 or 4 difficult years he was really finding his mojo again.
I'm not sure we need to rush into some kind of replacement - very difficult to replace a player like that on our kind of budget. Also, after what happened with Assaidi who seemed to come in on the aftermath of Wingie's injury, it sort of feels like once bitten...
We have a few options. Ireland looks to be in possession of that role and performed really well last season, but he could tweak the system and play Adam, SJW, Diouf or Crouch there.
I know Bojan gave us something different and a real goal threat from anywhere, but it's a team game, and the team are playing fairly well.
He's young and I'm sure he'll make a full recovery.

I must say Ive never had this feeling at the loss of one player through injury. I remember when Steino left for Chelsea I was also pretty distraught and this feels similar. Like we have had our golden one taken away from us in his prime. Football isnt about life and death. Its more important than that
