The Copper Pot (Sandbrook Park as you come of the A627(M) from the motorway is reputed to be a very nice Indian restaurant
I don't eat this kind of stuff so I can't personally recommend.

They'll be on sale right up to Monday pm anyway cause the tickets usually go back with the official coaches, but give Rochdale a bell in the morning if you can't get down as I'm sure they'll confirm it's pay on the gate I'm sure someone said we'd sold 2,200 of the 3,000 odd....

Sounds like Ryan won't be risked, and if Walters is doubtful I think Hughes will go with the following:
Butland
Bardsley Wollcheid Muniesa Wilson
N'Zonzi Whelan
Arnautovic Ireland Moses
Crouch

I think I have been advised that there is a pub on Sandbrook park that does a carvery and it is very cheap in the week! Is this correct / would you recommend??

Its just off j20 the pub you're on about and its ok. Not particularly easy to get to the ground from there in the run up to kick off though.

Cambridge are proving that Monday night will be no pushover whatsoever and the pitch condition will be awful by the looks of it so lets not get to cocky about it.

The carvery on Sandbrook Park is called.... The Sandbrook.
I make it a rule not to eat where a main course cost less than a pint of coke. It's that type of place.

Yes we've had scoobies loads of snow but it has all been cleared. It's not Premiership standard underneath the covers but having seen other pitches in League 1 it compares favourably to most.

Yep, both bars on the ground are away fan friendly, the Radcliffe Arms is possibly the one you are thinking off.
Our groundsman was so good he recently got poached by Qatar to sort out their pitches for the WC in 7 years.

Is he the one who was groundsman when we got there that night the game was called off?Me and my mate got shown the pitch that night and it was in a right state. Also is the pub still open behind the stand to our left and the chip shop on the same road?Pretty sure i parked the car somewhere round there.

Nope, that was ages back and different guy, the whole pitch gets re-laid every summer and drainage, sprinklers etc were installed about 5 years ago and are well bedded in.
That pitch was like your squad back then, not really comparible with today.
Chippy still there, pub is no more sadly.

Butland
Bardsley Wooly Wilson Pieters
Cameron Sidwell
Arnie Adam Moses
Walters
For a frosty night and a physical battle we want a strong team not afraid of getting stuck in. Moses needs protection

Pieters won't be available. Maybe Cameron at full back or centre back for this one I would start Crouch.

Hope LMH +co. are taking this one a little more seriously. Yes you are absolutely right. Fuck it, i'm not going drinking with my mates with the off chance of some decent food before the match, I'm going straight to the ground starving and taking my top off shouting keep it tight at the top of my voice whilst gesturing to the home end that I shall see them outside! Now is that serious enough for you? H
