Butland
Bardsley Wolly Muni Wilson (we have no one elsem Huth will be banned by then I'd imagine)
Cameron Adam
Walters Ireland Arnie
Crouch
For me.
A few changes for players that need games but still a team that should win.

See they scored four today. Full strength side please. I agree it's a potential banana skin, but they were playing second bottom Crawley and scored twice in the last two mins, presumably when Crawley were pushing for the equaliser. But I concur, full strength.

The FA Cup is there to be won. Butland for Begovic but other than that our strongest XI. Let's not leave anything to chance.......

We're in the middle of a season full of injuries, I think we need to rest a few to protect them and give a few some game time to bring them closer to match fitness. It's not like the side I've name hasn't got 10 full internationals and 1 current U-21 international in it.

We have a squad, we have a pretty knackered squad, it needs as much rotation as is possible at times like this for a few reasons. This is as good a time as any for it. Ideally I'd want more changes but injuries/lack of players don't allow it.

I'd play a slightly weakened team but with the big boys on the bench to bring on if necessary.
They shouldn't be needed as I would hope we would have a two goal lead by about 60-70 minutes.

This lot are scraping the play-offs in League 1. We shouldn't need a full strength team and that's not being complacent at all. Crouch should definitely play because I doubt that quality of defence will be able to deal with him, but I'd save Bojan and give Adam a go along with Butland and possibly Ireland.

This is an excellent time for it because we know we have 2 good centre backs as well as Ryan. And it's a good time to give Bojan a rest too. Ireland deserves and needs a start, Bojan could probably still do with a wee rest. Great time for it. And Moses needs as much protection as possible imo. He seems like a ticking time bomb with his muscles. Have him on the bench and use him if we have to. QPR is the bigger game for me.

A week sunning it in Dubai, followed by training in England will do him the world of good. There's just no need to put everyone out.

He does too much and in early round cup ties like this he shouldn't play. For similar reasons I wouldn't mind seeing Walters having a rest too. He's shown that it does him the world of good. We just haven't got anyone to put in for him.

The TV are there because they anticipate a cup shock. Let's not give them one and end up looking stupid. Let Rochdale have their evening in the spotlight, let them have the money, and then be completely ruthless and professional, winning comfortably by 2 or 3 nil and leaving them to focus on their promotion campaign.

We must not under estimate Rochdale.
The attitude from all of the players has to be spot on from the off. That said, we do have a strong enough squad to rest a few players. I would rest Ryan, Bego and Bojan. I also think a midfield of internationals like Charlie, Ireland and Cameron ought to be strong enough to deal with a lower league team.
Poor attitude is a bigger danger than using sensible squad rotation.
Butland
Bards Wolly + Muni ( or Huth if available) Wilson
GCam Charlie
SJW Ireland Arnie
Crouch

I completely get Bayern's point about resting some key players for this fixture; however, I'm with the others on this that we need to field almost our best possible side from the start. We can start subbing players like Ollie and Sidwell after we've done the business and are comfortably in front.

We are now getting to the sharp end of the Cup campaign and we need to remind ourselves that the other teams are there because they deserve to be.
We have every chance to finish top ten, an FA Cup win would not only be an uplifting first but also an opportunity to enter European competition which feeds both finances and reputation.
