Bars, restaurants. "good chippies",decent watering holes etc. Has anyone forgotten that we have a potentially nasty footballing shock waiting fur us on Monday night ? Hope LMH +co. are taking this one a little more seriously. Yes you are absolutely right. Fuck it, i'm not going drinking with my mates with the off chance of some decent food before the match, I'm going straight to the ground starving and taking my top off shouting keep it tight at the top of my voice whilst gesturing to the home end that I shall see them outside! Now is that serious enough for you? H Brilliant!!!

Pieters won't be available. Maybe Cameron at full back or centre back for this one I would start Crouch. Shame Tex is injured :/

Because the original incident got blown so much out of proportion, it was clearly going to stay in peoples minds for a long time.

After today's results we have to play a strong side, nothing like we did against Wrexham.

After today's results we have to play a strong side, nothing like we did against Wrexham. yeah and it's not just the side we pick either, they all need to work just as hard as if we were playing against Arsenal at the Britannia, die for the cause no different, we saw what happens today if you forget that. We have to go out there and really force the issue.

If we make too many changes we could take twenty minutes getting used to those changes. Full team please.

We picked a strong side vs Wrexham!
Shawcross shouldn't play and I still wouldn't play Bojan.
And one of Whelan or Fonz can have a break too.

Every player in the squad is a good player but you can't chuck players together and expect it to click. I understand that Shawcross is struggling so that may be a forced change.

I was disappointed we didn't make more. We put out a side that should win Premier League games, never mind beating a Conference side. We had the best centre half partnership we've had in 30/40 years playing. The starting right back and a left back who has played left back with the best centre half partnership for 2/3 seasons. Cameron and Sidwell have played together too, only against Portsmouth but then they looked bloody good and against that play in a higher league.... Adam play then too I believe. And the front 3 was one that could have easily started a Premier League game. It was a really strong side, a disappointingly stong side I thought, I always whinge when there's no proper reserves in there.

We didn't but that's football, whereas against Portsmouth we did. It's why we have a squad. Shawcross shouldn't leave Cheshire. Walters hopefully will be on the bench. After that we're going have to play pretty much a first team anyway because the options for the front 4 aren't numerous. Ireland deserves and needs a game and I'd rest the Fonz for Sidwell.
If that team can't beat Rochdale, we can't complain as it'll the one that beat Leicester minus Bego, Fonz, Bojan and Walters. And you're putting in quality players for them.

Should we get through on Monday, dare we dream of a Stoke Baggies Final? Quite possible if the draw is kind.

Big miss if Walters does not play.
The Guardian newspaper points out today that he has scored 9 times in our last 15 FA Cup games.

Butland
Bardsley Shawcross Wollscheid Wilson
Whelan N'Zonzi
Walters Ireland Arnie
Crouch
Strong team, solid defensively and on the flanks, goals won't come pouring in but we only need a couple, you'd think between Crouch, Walters, Ireland and Arnie, plus Shawcross and Wollscheid from set pieces we'd have a couple in there...
GOOOOAAARRRNNNNN Stoke!

I hope Huges doesn´t make any experiements tomorrow. Due to the results yesterday the FA Cup should have a high status this year...we have a great chance to reach the final if everybody takes it seriously.

Local TV had a feature on Rochdale and the Youth Academy manager is Tony Ellis. He looked younger now than when he played for Stoke but still the Elvis greasy hair.

Rochdale have trained indoor all week without their manager as he has had a virus all week. Not great preparation for them . My team now would be: Butland Cameron Wollscheid Muniesa Wilson Adam Sidwell Walters Ireland Arnie Crouch
