One of the very best players, of any nationalities, in the premiershit.
I've run out of superlatives for the lad after yet another faultless and immaculate performance.

Dave he's blocked out every top forward in the league this season.
He's even doing it without breaking sweat now.

Superb today, and improving so much each game that he will be in demand in summer, if not before. Must hang on to him if we can.

I actually think his sending off did him good; he doesn't need to manhandle players and he is playing superbly.

His pockets full of world class strikers who appear to disappear against him

He had Van Persie in his pocket all day.
It's a shame he isn't getting the recognition from England, but it can surely only be to our benefit? As soon as he starts playing regularly at international level, all the giants will come with their hands full of cash.

Did a perfect job on both Van Persie and Rooney all afternoon. Just another days work.
Fuck Hodgson and fuck England. He's loved by us and he knows it. He doesn't need to be surrounded by the likes of Smalling and Jones.

Absolutely world class. Both van persie and falcao struggled against him.
I don't expect him to get called up, I really don't but I'm so proud of him regardless. He's a gem and he's ours.

It really is hard to find different words every week to describe to people just how good he is. There's one or two I try and educate in Delilah's every home game. They have gone through the "not good enough with the ball" bullshit, "too quiet to be a captain" and the "he should keep his hands to himself" nonsense. They are finding it almost impossible to have a conversation with me about him these days though. Basically, we have got the best fucking centre half in the league. I say that, truly believing it. I'm sure that statement would get ridiculed on every message board and at every ground in England but does it make it any less true? Seriously, what other centre half has been as consistent as Ryan has over the last 6 years in the top flight?

A mate that's a United fan on Facebook:
He's a decent defender. Imagine the England caps he could have had......not at a glamorous enough club.
He's not the best in the world but I'd say he's as good as anyone playing for England at the moment

Only Hodgson can explain how any of Smalling,Jones,Chambers,or stones can seriously be considered to be a better Centre Half. There again, one of the reasons England will NEVER win a major tournament is the inability of the FA to choose a manager who picks a team based on form, not "big club" syndrome.

Better than any of their centre backs by a country mile.
Brilliant performance again

Smalling and Jones aren't fit to lace Ryan's boots. He didn't lose a header today and those too couldn't win one between them.

Immense. Just immense. I love how he just gets on with it. A lesser character could have buckled under the incessant pressure piled on by Wenger & his followers. Credit to Ryan for coping with it, and rising so, so high above the rubbish. Just stay at Stoke.

By far and away England's best central defender and I'd put him as the best in the premier league too.
Stated a few years ago that if he was at a bigger named club he'd have had 50 England caps by now 'and that was then'.
I wouldn't swap him for anyone. Guess there must have been something in that kenko he drank in my chair. Lol.

Anyone hear Lee[Vale wanker] Blakeman on the way home after the match on about him?I couldn't make out whether he was playing devils advocate when people we're raving about him on text and phone calls or he genuinely doesn't rate him?My worry is that Ryans form is that good that it will attract the big clubs come the summer.

I am better than those two.

Just look at the spine of our team ...
Bego, Ryan, N'Zonzi, Bojan
They're all arguably top six players, there's massive potential for our team if we can add a right back and a centre forward of similar quality.
