Before the season like all were I was really excited about Bojan but why hasn't this lad not been given a real chance upfront. He's obviously got talent but we need to give him a run of games. I hope to god he starts this Wednesday but I really doubt he'll get his chance.

I'd like to see this team. Bojan's best position for me is in the number 10 role behind the main striker so I hope we give him an opportunity there. N'Zonzi, Adam, Wilson and Crouch could probably do with a rest ahead of the West Ham game next Saturday.
-------------Begovic---------------
Bardsley - Huth - Shawcross - Pieters
---------Muniesa - Cameron----------
------Moses - Bojan - Arnautovic-----
--------------Diouf-----------------

Along with Sidwell looks like a wasted signing, think they would all need to be on crutches for either to get a game.

First Ireland and now Adam both had pedestrian starts one not giving two shits and another acting like a tasmanian devil whirling his legs giving free kicks. Why not Bojan? Good question.

Why are people so desperate to drop Crouch? A change? We look so predictable. Crouch has been ok. I just think we need to try something new.

I hope to god he starts this Wednesday but I really doubt he'll get his chance. Because he wanders around too deep during the match and is about as physical as a fart in the wind....he is a brilliant talent, however, just like the teams he has played for before us, he has struggled to pin down a position that fits him AND the team around him. Maybe with time, he can work out how to adapt (like Muniesa did) .... fingers crossed

Id keep Crouch, add Bojan stick Nzonzi and Geoff next to each other tied to the hip infront of Ryan and Wilson and yell "Stay!" Then, actually have pace on the wing from the start for the counter wham.

The manager and staff see him train,so they must believe he is good enough for a start .Most people on this board were taken in by all this talk about him being a super star at a young age.The clubs he as played for and failed don't let good player leave for peanuts.

I don't even know why Bojan is on the bench any more. If we weren't going to bring him on today, the management clearly don't trust him.
Perhaps we should be giving young Shenton the chance to gain some experience with the odd sub's showing.

Dont really seee what he did wrong when he came on. He cant play himself into form when only getting 25 mins from the bench.

Our entire attacking play pretty much revolves around Crouch because he's the only one who can play the lone striker role.
Bojan has done nothing to suggest he's worth any game time. He's not the only one mind. He needs to get his act together else his footballing career will be over,no one else is going to take him if he fails with us.He's had enough chances elsewhere and blown them all.I keep seeing the 'he obviously has talent' line being banded about on here.He hasn't really shown any sign of it for a good few years has he

I wasn't really expecting to see much of the lad until after Xmas, so there's no disappointment nor pulling of nails hereabouts. His couple of preseason goals and chucking him into the fray on the first day has raised expectations. He wasn't the worst player on the pitch against Villa. Cameos at most for me still... {Never in the same side as Ireland again though.}

Gosh, I'd almost forgotten Odemwingie! We went from bottom 3 to top 10 when he joined he is a HUGE miss A huge, huge miss. His direct running with the ball, his intelligence off the ball and his natural ability to put the ball in the net made all the difference for me. We look a pale shadow of the team that finished the season. Arnie has gone from brilliant to a pub player and the players we've brought in, Moses excepted do not look any better than what we already had. It's very disappointing.

Hughes probably felt he'd done a fine job with 2 misfits in Arnie and Odemwingie, so a third was worth taking a chance on. Then Odemwingies out, Arnie's lost his way and Bojan hasn't found it yet.
We are talking about a guy who was once sold for €12 million and Stoke signed 2 years later for just €1.8 million...so it was a gamble. I can't help feeling Stoke and Hughes were thinking 'Well if it turns out he's good we've rehabilitated a great player and if it doesn't and it turns out he's an also-ran, ok we've spent more on worse.' I don't think it's a good way to go about things and I get this nasty feeling the whole Bojan Stoke deal is doomed from the out. Hope I'm wrong.
Agreed with everyone about missing Odemwingie. Only losing Ryan would have been a bigger blow. We're not going to lose Ryan of course. Are we?

Diouf shows promise but needs a few games fully fit which he hasn't had yet, if we can work out how to use Bojan and add a couple of players in January we can have a good season.

Pointless signing so far and stupid to even have him in the bench when the intention is clear
And yet Ossie just gets on each time despite a country mile off match fitness = poor management
