And it seems Monk and others have forgotten (well how I saw it anyway) Sigurdsson attempting to dive in the first half when he rounded Bego and lost control of the ball Don't think he did dive mate he punched the pitch in anger at him self for falling over and never looked for or appealed for the penalty. Just in real time to me it looked like he tried to con the ref into giving a pen as if he had gone over asmir's boot, as he seemed to look round at the ref before he got annoyed, but I could be wrong

Just got back & seen Gary Monk's Sky interview. He actually says the above.
That surely will lead to a FA charge of bringing the game into disrepute?

I've seen their peno. It's not a penalty in a million years. I've only seen ours at the game, he dived. Clearly!

There is a photo on the BBC website report of the match that shows Rangel does have a handful of Moses' shirt, whether or not it was enough to make him go down, it does show there was something for Oliver to make a decision on. Whether you agree with it or not, the consensus this year from all the ex pros, who now commentate on the games, is that "they're entitled to go down".... unless they're a Stoke player of course!

Swansea's sponsors should be 'Slumbertime Duvets'. They turn up and spend 90 minutes lying down and then expect to be awarded 3 points just for being cunts. Fuck 'em.

He forgot to mention the penalty that we should've got when Crouch nearly had his shirt pulled off his back.

not sure if mentioned but the only penalty that should have been given in the first half was when Taylor pulled down Crouchy's shirt so he couldn't jump at a cross that was coming in and which Crouch would probably have stuck in the back of the net.
Monk is a prick.

In both duals, both players have the exact same grip on their opposite number and neither are fouling each other. Bony falls over and Oliver becomes the biggest cunt on planet Earth.

Hell of an outburst, especially considering Bony hit the deck for fun. And a few others as well.

If I was Monk I would be furious that his side wasted 2 great chances first half and then switched off second half. Monk showed by his substitutions (at 1.1) that he came to win the game - but his side didn't - after the break. Stoke cashed in on that and that's his sides fault no one else's.

In his interview with Sky "Moses cheated the ref and the ref cheated us" and then when questioned if his comments would have repercussions from the BBC he said he didn't say anybody cheated. The blokes a cunt.

Looks like a pen to me.
The Sky commentary team thought the first was a definite penalty then spent the rest of the match going on about how strong Bony is - so how the hell do end up on the ground?
Bony had hold of Ryan. Ryan had hold of Bony. Williams stuck a leg out to trip Ryan. Bony thru himself onto the ground.
Incredibly generous.
Ian Wright on 606 thought the first was a pen but said MH will have right to be angry if refs don't continue to apply this interpretation of the law: (1) Why should we be the ones to suffer as this law is implemented. (2) It won't be applied in future weeks will it.

Have to be honest, when i first our penalty at the ground I was fully expecting Moses to get carded for diving. Me and my old man looked at each other as if to say "he's dived", and even now i'm not 100% convinced that he didn't dive.
As for their penalty, Shawcross has been doing that every game for 6 years, and a referee is bound to have a word with him at some point. I saw Oliver warn Shawcross and he carried on pulling, so I think it's a 50-50 to be honest.

Hughes unhappy that Gary Monk has accused a Stoke player of cheating.
However, he realises that In the heat of the moment, immediately after a game - unfortunate comments are made.
When asked if he expects Monk to apologise, Mark said no, then commented that a more experienced manager would possibly have avoided such a comment.

Whats he moaning for? Oliver gave his side everything. Absolutely everything. Garry who??? He can quite simply 'do one'. Oliver was giving the Welsh barstewards everything in the first half, obvious that he is being trained in the Dean, Wiley and Atkinson school of 'my penis is minute but I am going to show this lot who's the boss'. Well done son, you'll go far. Seemed to remember not so very long ago (Newcastle) Moses being derailed by one of the most obvious and blatant shoves in the history of football and we got nothing. That's life; Swansea continue to fancy themselves as the saviours of modern European football. We won they lost, great day all round.

You can see this no-mark on the football league show already There's one or two of them trot that tired old cliche out, 'They play a certain way'. Would that certain way be the one where we won't let them win? Even Mourhino has come out with a similar one. What they mean is, 'We can't f*cking beat them.'
