So the man who selected and defended Chico Flores is saying this. Gary Monk must have the memory of a goldfish. Gary Monk didn't do that did he? pretty sure Chico was gone before Monk took charge

Swansea's was a penalty take your red and white tinted glasses off, he got manhandled in the box. Are you for real? they both had hold of one another and did exactly the same thing to one another!

His job is now under severe pressure following Swansea's dismal run.
No surprise if he is gone before they play again.

Just watching his interview. "Stoke penalty was a disgrace, Moses is a disgrace..." Swansea get shafted on a regular basis, he has complained to Mike Riley but he doesn't give a stuff... The whole world is against him and his team. Vey strange, given that Michael Oliver gave them fucking everything going!!

Listening to 5live on the way home. They were far from impressed with Swansea's penalty nor Monk's complaints.

I do have to agree that theirs was a foul but like others have said you can't pick shawcross out for this. Every team has somebody in this role skertel and terry come to mind, what pisses me off is that every commentator/ pundit has to focus on it when it's Ryan and mentions that it needs stopping. I don't mind if this is going to get clamped down on in every fixture from now on because like I said it is a foul but something tells me that this was not a show of intent from the referees association.

Correct! But it goes on at every corner, all the time. I can't help feeling this little scrote Oliver is trying to endear himself to or has been influenced by the media. He didn't even talk to them first as all refs do. Ryan looked much better when he was attacking the ball instead of all in wrestling.

Whats he moaning for? Oliver gave his side everything. Absolutely everything. Because he has a bee in his bonnet about it and is an ongoing topic of debate for him ( Garry Monk moaning his bag off) It's possibly why Oliver saw fit to award them a foul in every 50-50 challenge...

Not quite - Ryan stayed on his feet, Bony threw himself to the floor. Yes he did mate but no way was it a penalty! Agree - both players holding each other. Bony's dive won it. That said I'd like to see us stop this holding stuff - there has to be another way. Leaves us open for a forward to con a ref looking to make a name for himself by giving a penalty for holding. Which so what happened today.

It's funny coming from a man who employed Chico Flores, Nathan dyer and bony, the strongest wimp on earth.

And it seems Monk and others have forgotten (well how I saw it anyway) Sigurdsson attempting to dive in the first half when he rounded Bego and lost control of the ball

If a player from the Shit, Arsenal, Liverpool etc. do it against them, will he have the bottle to call them cheats too?

I'm sure that Moses had his shirt pulled as well as the little nudge on him and they did the same to crouch earlier - Swansea do it all the time where the ref can't see it

Stoke have won a game. So the moses "dive" will be a big story of course. Monk must have missed the rest of the game where the ref gave them everything going.

My first thought was that Moses dived and it's one thing that I've noticed since he's been here,he goes down far too easily for my liking.

How can you take a manager who brought Milli Vanilli on in the second half of a Premier League game seriously?

Come on guys. The Shawcross one was a definite penalty and my only gripe is the inconsistencies as Crouch was pulled from pillar to post all game with nothing given. The Moses one was a weak one but they get given all the time......

The Moses one was a weak one but they get given all the time...... That's the problem, consistency, which is why we were awarded such a soft penalty, no way was that ref going to give a penalty every time a player was held/pushed in the box because it happens too much in every single game, so he backed down and gave us a penalty to even it out

Im not happy about either penalty to be honest. We kind of knew the Shawcross one was going to come at some point its been in the spotlight a lot in recent weeks/ months and we've all talked about it however Im all for refs enforcing this rule about holding providing they do it consistency. Today it just seemed like he'd already decided he was going to award it before the game. As for Moses it was a little embarrassing as I don't condone cheating however we've been beaten by those before so fuck it for once we benefitted. Not sure I'd be happy seeing him do it every week.
