Genuinely think Ryan should elect to play for Wales and let the media rip Woy a new one for being such a twat!

The term golden balls was created for Roy Hodgson. Free pass from the press despite unprecedented fucks ups in the last 2 tournaments and drawn the easiest group imaginable to qualify from for the next.
To be honest I'm glad Ryan isn't associated with the clown.

Everytime a squad is announced we have the same old stuff Me .....he should be in the squad as he pisses over every single one of those defenders but Hodgson just doesn't rate him as do 90% of the rest of the nation .....just go to a game ( England or Stoke ) and ask fans of other clubs How many people ( myself included ) feel about Smalling is exactly the same as most feel about Shawcross We should just move on Most other fans associate ryan with that tackle still, that's the problem.

When Stoke had poor managers and poor teams did you hope we got dicked then? I'm English and a football fan, therefore I support England. I've got my tickets for the Slovenia match and I'll be there at Wembley supporting the team. The fact that one of the best English defenders is constantly overlooked reflects poorly on Roy Hodgson and no-one else. There's not much point having a go at the players he does select.

How often does Ramsey get mentioned when Ryan is being talked about? How often do they focus on any holding that Ryan does (he's no worse than many centre-halves but the media ignore them)? I expect the England manager to have a mind of his own. Make decision based on his own views. Roy just follows the media steer.

I just feel sorry for Ryan himself and just hope he doesn't see this continual non-selection for the national team as a reason to leave the club he undoubtedly loves to bits.

To think we have to suspend club football for two weeks to accommodate this dog piss as well. Still, just started Blacklist on Netflix so plenty of time to crack on with it.

Rickie Lambert: -
6 premier league matches into the season, 66 minutes played in total. On average, 11 minutes a match. No goals.
Andros Townsend: -
6 premier league matches into the season, 62 minutes played in total. On average, just over 10 minutes a match. No goals, no assists.
Everton defenders selected: -
Everton currently sit 15th in the table, 14 goals conceded. Stoke are 11th, only 5 goals conceded.
It's all to do with who you play for. Cleverley was garbage when he was at Man Utd but kept getting called up whilst he was there. The second he goes to Villa he is dropped. Same with the likes of Carroll and Downing. They weren't good enough when they were at Liverpool, but kept getting called up. They move to West Ham, no longer selected. It isn't a coincidence that players get called up as soon as they sign for "bigger teams", nor is it a surprise when they no longer make the cut when transferred to "smaller teams". It's all a crock of shit.
What happened to picking players on merit, based on form? : -
Nathan Dyer - Playing well, scoring goals (4 already this season - 3 in the Prem, 1 in the cup) - not selected Adam Lallana - Done nothing - 0 goals, 0 assists....plays for Liverpool: selected Townsend - Done nothing - 0 goals, 0 assists.....plays for Spurs: selected
You could even make a case for Crouch. Neither Lambert or Crouchie are ones for the future so why not make the selection based on individual merit? One is a first team regular, playing well and has a couple of goals in as many games. The other is getting 5 minutes here and there and has done nothing of note. He just plays for a more fashionable club.
Crock. Of. Shit.

No it doesn't. Supporting a football team does not equate to patriotism. I have thought for yonks Muniesa should be Stoke's first choice left back. When Pieters gets picked ahead of him I still want us win. I don't sulk off like a mardarse.

Everton have the worst defensive record in the Premiership & 3 defenders get called up, only Southampton have conceded less than us & Shawcross is probably further away than I am to getting a call up at the moment.

P.S. when Ramsey is mentioned then "The tackle" quite often gets talked about (usually without actually mentioning Ryan's name) but it's very very very rare nowadays that anyone brings up that tackle when Ryan is the subject matter of the conversation or article....again, something that Stoke fans like to drag up as an excuse as and when it suits despite it just not being true.
