Imagine how many Chugger could bag then..! Chugga could bag 50 unfortunately he's too busy eating chips and gravy plus it rains an awful lot in Scotland and you know how Chugga doesn't train in the rain. Yoth.

Some people have rose tinted glasses on when it comes to him. He's crap, a championship player at best. So is Walters and we've still got him! We could have done with Jerome on the bench on Saturday.

Good luck and thank you cj.some fantastic goals and allways gave 100% a very good signing for delias boys but if they paid 12m for that leeds bloke then cj must be worth 10m at least really?

Well there IS a fair argument to be had about the relative values of the two players since the higher valued of the two has never played at Premier League level. It could easily be argued that, at this moment, Jerome is worth more. The price being paid for players that are 'untried' at this level is nothing short of MENTAL. Given what he's achieved to date, I'd say 2 - 3 million is about right for Jerome and I'd place about the same figure on an untried, though promising, striker from the league below.

Seems to be a feeling Wigan are also in for him“We still have a bid on the table for a striker, but it’s an ongoing process,” the Wigan boss added. “There are at least two competitors in the race for the same player. “We don’t know if we will succeed, but we are doing everything we can to get the deal done.” Pete O'Rourke @skysportspeteo Norwich, Wigan and Celtic are all chasing Stoke City striker Cameron Jerome. #scfc #wafc #celtic #ncfc

Thought we did TP's usual 'name your price' routine and got stung for £4.5 - 5.0 m?
Hold that emoticon...

Hold that emoticon...He meant we recouped what we have spent on transfer fees this summer - but not signing on fees obviously.

Just as important these days as the fee brought in is the wages freed up in our tight FFP budget. I'd expect he was on around 30k a week.

But, to fair, I wasn't helped No1, by your post being as clear as London fog.
And yes, not a bad wedge on our English Drogba.

Majority Norwich fans on twitter aren't too pleased. I think he'll do well in the championship. I don't blame them,he is shit. He'll do well for them, not good enough for the Prem mind.
