I think we have lots of good options and think various permutations should be able to put away this Villa side.
Whelan to get the first goal.
Home win.

4-0 Bojan two and Diouf two. I've never been this excited since Ilda left me. 2 nil Stoke, Bojan and Diouf. I haven't felt the joy of my old lady fucking off yet Mumf so still have a tempered optimism. :-)

As long as we get 3pts,I couldn't care less. While we're on about it,I hope Bojan scores, the longer it takes, the more the press will be on his back.

I think it'll be a tight game.
We've got 2 or three new players who will start and it's early days.
As long as we get the win, I'll be happy.
I'm really, really optimistic about the season ahead but I'd be surprised if it hit the ground at full speed.

2-0 Stoke, Bojan scores both I can't imagine why you think Bojan will score two goals I would also plump for 2-0 Stoke. I can't see it being a 4-1 thrashing like the away game towards the end of last season. Diouf to score, and it would also be nice for Ireland to net too.

3-0 v Villa Diouf, Bojan & Ireland. Sounds good. What about the 2nd half? We take it easy on them & play keep ball.

I think I'd be just as happy with a 2-2 draw where both Diouf and Bojan score, as I would with 1-0 win where Ryan scores from a corner.
On the face of it that sounds like a pretty dumb thing to say but over the following few games, the fact that they've both broken their ducks in the first game, might ultimately mean that we yield more points over those games in total, if that makes sense?
Just want them both to individually hit the ground running - that'd be the most pleasing thing for me.

A win just 1-0 . Pre season has shown us struggling for goals but I think we will have enough up front & our defence will be solid .Nzonzi the winner.

Probably a solid 2-0 win with one of the new signings scoring.

To be fair, you got told. I did get told yes, I read it. Doesn't mean my original point was less valid and/or that heisenburk wasn't being serious in the first place.
