Don't want him not even for free, past it show Pony. Do you think he likely to roll his sleeves up on a wet tuesday night in Stoke? No, me neither.
He'll go West Ham or QPR anyway & good luck to them & him.
I'm more interested in Scott Sinclair who is available for £3million than Ronaldhino on a freeSinclair could be a great signing.

Allardyce loves his ageing former world stars, always has done & seems to get an extra bit of steam out of them. But does Ronnie play the West Ham way? Nailed on West Ham.

Apparently having talks with the NY Red Bulls. What the fuck does New York have that Stoke doesn't?!

All sensible discussion aside, you've all got to admit that if this signing ever happened we would all be as excited as I was when i opened my first pack of Panini stickers in 97 to find I had the shiny Stoke badge sticker...

Not me mate, we don't need him, waste of money imo on a show pony at his age with zero Premiership Experience. He has been playing in Brazil lately, the retirement ground of Brazilian greats. To put it into perspective fat ronaldo played there when he was as fat as he is now & still scored goals, I wonder if he would of done it in the Premiership, no chance. If we have money like that to piss up the wall spend it on a top european player at the top of his game, another Arnautovic or Yarmelenko would be a better option. We have got to be careful we don't end up having flair outweighing the graft, it's a fine line.

Would sell some shirts but a valid PL senior at his age? hmm. Don't see it. He wouldn't, he'd show the occasional flash of brilliance & be a passenger for 90% of the season imo.

H I doubt it & if he was we'd have as much chance as signing C Ronaldo. Don't get this whole Ronaldhino love in though, there has to be a reason none of the BIG clubs are in for him, he's been there done it all, made his money, his name & his families future. My question is does he have the desire to compete in a long highly competitive English season in an unfashionable area for an upper mid table club infront of 27'500 & if so why go back to Brazil so soon, why not come to England sooner? I'm certain anyway he would go to West Ham if he come to English football, however I think we'll see his true competitive football desire when he chooses New York Redbulls.

Pieters just liked a video of Ronaldinho on Instrgram, clear sign that they've had a chat, and Ronnie's decided the lure of Oatcakes is too much! He's signing I tell thee!

Thing is, at the start of the window we almost signed a 34 year old Olic, and I don't remember as many people moaning. Both footballers are very talented, very gifted, and as far as what MOST people had seen (ie Youtube clips etc) both look like they are still pretty good for people coming to the end of their careers, i don't understand why so many were for one and against the other

Olic is still performing in a top league (and the World Cup) and would fit the system we have like a glove. Ronaldinho isn't playing at a good level (the Brazilian league is shit and yes I do watch, I have BT) and doesn't overly fit the system.

I definitely see where you're coming from but even though Olic has played well in Germany and featured in a World Cup campaign, he is still a 34 year old who is unproven in the Premier League (and just for the record I wanted Olic to join too), the same as Ronaldinho would be if he were to join us (or QPR, West Ham etc), and I'd say with Ronaldinho's pedigree, he may be more apt to adopt to the English game then Olic would have been. You don't loose that kind of greatness unless your legs etc are shot, and even though the Brazilian League is shit (I can't say as I don't have BT) he still looks rapid and skillful on the clips I've seen of him. At the end of the day I'm always going to view this possible signing with rose tinted spectacles just because of the fact it's Ronal-fucking-dinho lol. The fact is we may have signed old crocks of ex-legends in the recent past, but none of them could hold a candle to Ronaldinho, and it was only a couple of years ago he was doing it at a top level too so I have faith that he could do it here too.

Ronaldinho will be at Clayton Woods on Wednesday As much as I would love to believe that, he won't be. I think he will end up at QPR or Boca Juniors.

I hope this comes off, I reckon the hunger is still there on his part, go get him Leslie

But just seeing this guy put on the Stoke shirt and do some tricks on the touchline would be worth the risk. As a Stoke fan this would be a magical season. I think we would be transformed from last on MOTD to first pretty much every week. We would be like the old kevin keegan Newcastle team. You score 3 and we will score 4.

You score 3 and we will score 4. of course there's a lot that could go wrong but I can almost guarantee he will be used/utlisie much better than Gudjohnson, Owen, Carew. Sparky know's what he's doing, if he does go for him there will be reasons other than it being a PR stunt. One reason could be to help Bojan settle, they played together when Bojan came through at Barca, then we're just Messi away I would welcome R10 with open arms, one of my all time favourite players, an actual Brazilian legend, made impossible touches and flicks possible. I reckon it would give us some great press (not like we need it) and I think merch sales would improve dramatically, the guy is one of the most recognisable and famous players of all time. I know I'd have a shirt with his name, probably a framed picture of him, anything I can get my hands on. This is all in hindsight as he'll more than likely not even end up in the prem never mind in the potteries.
