Would sell some shirts but a valid PL senior at his age? hmm. Don't see it.

I think the media circus would be huge. It would be a lot of fun, but we had probably had best not attract such attention...

I think Bojan was enough for the off season lol He epitomes our building of a team. We've never been higher spoken of and on so many peoples lips mate. Great times to be a stokie!

It would be amazing to see him in the premier league for a season. I'm sure he'd be a success wherever he went regardless of his age, he's one of the best players I've ever seen and he has absolutely everything to his game.

Please stay clear! Haven't we walked that path before? Gudjohnsen, Woodgate and Owen should really make us stay well clear in my opinion!

Its head v heart. Head - no chance, completely past it. Heart - I dont know how anyone can say they wouldnt like to see him run out for Stoke just once.
He would instantly be the best player to ever pull on a Stoke shirt.

He would be if this was 2009, however it isn't and given his current age and the fact that he hasn't played in Europe for a few year I'd think he'd stuggle

I think the circus that this transfer would create would distract us from the important business of garnering some points from the benign looking set of fixtures we have at the start of the season.
It's a no from me.

I would love it to happen but now we just signed Bojan, we probably have too much attacking flair to keep happy and pay wages to. So unfortunately no room in the squad.
But still would love to see it. The guy never relied on sheer pace and Im sure he hasnt lost any of his amazing skills and tricks. I honestly reckon he could hack it in the Premier League for a couple of years. Comparisons with Owen and Gudjohnsen are ridiculous - Ronaldinho is a class above

He'd be worth the wages just so I could get a Ronaldinho Stoke shirt. I'm not sure how well he's currently playing but to have the most skillful footballer to have ever played at Stoke City would be unreal. Much more exciting than other has beens like Michael Owen IMO.

I seriously think this should be something we go for, the following reasons...
* his wages will most likely be offset by the amount of extra money we would receive from shirt sales, tv etc
* he is a little old and past it perhaps but he can still be a game changer.
* I get that after signing Bojan we have a few flair players now and we still need a winger, however, I don't think Ronaldinho will expect to be playing week in week out, I think he might just want a crack at the Premier League meaning he'd be a bonus for us.
Could he be the mystery player? I know he'd been linked, but nobody thought it was serious. It will be interesting to see if we really are interested.

Gone are the days of Steve Foley and John Gayle

Think you're in fantasy land about increased revenue from shirt sales and TV. In the first case you'd need to in factor displacement, in the second additionality. After you've done that, you'll end with no additional cash. We should keep clear. This is an ego signing. Best left to folks with more money than sense.

Ronaldinho certainly has a bigger trophy cabinet, but Sir Stan is way before my time.

West Ham or QPR written all over him.
Wage demands are no issue to them.

If we signed him it would be great for about 2 weeks, then either he would get passed off playing with people not even on his planet or his wages and media attention would cause disharmony in the squad and as everyone knows, that is a killer
