Just about to say west ham or qpr would jump at it. Dirty Harry would use him to lower the average age of his squad.

If he turns out for Palace at left back I'll split a kidney.

Its head v heart. Head - no chance, completely past it. Heart - I dont know how anyone can say they wouldnt like to see him run out for Stoke just once. He would instantly be the best player to ever pull on a Stoke shirt. Stanley Matthews? Or Gordon Banks, maybe?

Wouldn't be surprised if he went to a London club, something a bit more glamorous.

No thanks.
Massive wages , massive ego and he's 34.
It would be a massive circus for no end product.

If he turns out for Palace at left back I'll split a kidney. i'd laugh my arse off (it'd be nice to laugh at a club and take the piss for such a stupid signing after being on the receiving end from virtually all neutral fans when we signed Michael "Unofficially retired from football 8 years ago but happy to take the pay cheque thanks" Owen) but at the same time , given Tone's predeliction for signing players that are past it but once had a big name so still demand massive wages which could be better spent on a player that actually will give a shit about the team and work hard for them, would anyone really be that surprised?

Latest I have heard is that he is going to someone in south America, but there is a lot of interest from the MLS. I also believe that there is an Australian club (A-League) looking at him.

I honestly don't think he would be value for money these days and would detract from the teamwork that MH is trying to build.
But it would be nice to be proved totally wrong and he took Stoke into Europe.

One of the World's greatest ever players, most likely past his sell by date, but still would be a huge draw wherever he played out his last season or two, ask yourself why on earth would he come to Stoke? New York or LA perhaps.

I still doubt there's any player out there today with a better first touch than him.

Has anybody considered that having the 'BET365' logo emblazoned across a global superstars chest, in many media outlets across a worldwide audience would be beneficial to both the BET365 and the Stoke City 'brand'. You cannot put a price to the amount of exposure both the club and it's owners could recoup from this potential signing . Personally I don't think all this rumour is accurate however it would an interesting period in the clubs history .
