If his cakes bring half as much pleasure as his performances in red and white, he'll do well. His ingredients were spot on, and the finished product close to perfection. I'll be looking for his place next time the missus drags me 'up 'anly, duck'.

I think he's the first modern day footballer I ever remember opening a shop fair play to him.
From the past I remember Billy mould having a sports shop in the ironmarket in Newcastle, I also went to a sports shop owned by Peter Taylor in Southend when visiting my gran. Didn't Ian Painter also own a Sports shop. Anybody remember any others?

Gotta love Mama! That winner of a bounce off the back of his bonce in that first Premier League home game against Villa will endear him to Stokies forever.

I predict this shop will not be prolific, and at one point it will go nearly a full year without producing any cakes at all.
But on the very big occasions, when it really matters, it will have a weird knack of almost by accident coming up trumps with a cake so extraordinary it will be remembered by everyone forever.

It's also very nice to see that there's been a big turnout from the club there. They didn't need to show some support for a former player, it's just a nice touch of class.

Apart from the usual shopping centre dross, here's a guy putting something different in place. Just what is needed and hopefully encourage a few others to put something different in place. Definately be popping in and hope he gets up a great customer base.
