Of course not. You could call the old manager a cunt or wanker on here but you can't say the same about hughes or you get told off by admin. I don't think any of the admin liked Mr Pulis. If I remember correctly, it was ok to call the previous manager a wanker, but cunt was definitely off limits. It was a very difficult time... Can we call him a cunt again now? I don't recall a missive from admin lifting the ban? Just for clarity the only time Stafford has been suspended has not had anything to do with his views but everything to do with abuse of fellow supporters including calling them the very names mentioned. Trying to pretend it is anything else is simply a straightforward lie. I don't think anyone disliked Mr Pulis. We hardly knew him. What we did not like was the utterly shite and negative football he instructed his team to produce on a very regular basis. I think it is safe to say that like the vast majority of supporters, the people who do the admin of this site I speak with regularly have found the football on offer and the positive approach in word and deed of the new manager to be a most welcome breath of fresh air.

Where's the table where we were in the bottom 3 then? Sunderland beat Newcastle in the early kick off mate which when they won we dropped into the bottom 3 until 4:50 pm It was only for two hours as we beat Man Utd and bizarrely jumped up to about 14th For a whole 2 hours hey? Sheesh. Bring back tone.

Please for those of you who keep bringing up TP, where is your greater interest, Stoke City Football club or a former manager. If you absolutely feel emotionally linked to TP, who incidentally is trying to get as many points for Crystal Palace (not Stoke) as he can, please refer to the following link and feel free to clear off down south on Saturdays: www.google.com/maps/dir/Britannia+Stadium,+Stanley+Matthews+Way,+Stoke-on-Trent+ST4+4EG,+United+Kingdom/Selhurst+Park+Stadium,+Holmesdale+Rd,+London+SE25+6PU,+UK/@52.2381522,-2.3561832,8z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m13!4m12!1m5!1m1!1s0x487a685482948a6f:0x2be0e1f5495d5247!2m2!1d-2.175464!2d52.988264!1m5!1m1!1s0x4876012de369f8cf:0x9587b7222f2816b2!2m2!1d-0.087225!2d51.39869 Now that is funny as fuck because it is normally those that say they hated him and are glad he has gone that bring him up. Lol. ay up mate, how's it going? I simply don't get that people expend so much energy on the great manager debate. I'm quite sure, QPR fans aren't launching into great debates about how well MH is now doing and maybe they should have him instead of Redknapp? Anyhow, last time I looked at my car, it had a Stoke City emblem in the back window, no mention of either LMH or TP. For what it's worth (and I can't stand getting into this debate) I thought our last chap was great, did a great job and got us finally to a final. Then he didn't do so well and I despaired often with our performance and the end of match interviews. Perhaps people have a use-by date after which their influence on the team or ideas run their course. Whatever, this season had increasingly improved and I am more excited than I have been for a long time as a supporter of Stoke City irrespective of the manager. I am pleased though that my early season worries about Peter Coate's decisions have been unfoundered. Looking forward to a great game today and many more great oatcake conversations/debates; just not ones that keep bringing up by-gone managers. Lord knows how my marriage would be going if I kept bringing up former girlfriends the way the last manager keeps coming up on here.

Tough game for Hughes today - and also the previous incumbent.
Let's hope for a good performance and result for LMH and the lads today.
