Seems the brief soakers are up bright and early in readiness for all of Arnies 6/10 in the tabloids.
I'd have expected not less than a ten from Len too.

He's getting there! Just stick with him... He needs confidence and experience to learn the real way the league runs. He's a great talent and his work-rate was fantastic today, he just wouldn't have any of it. He is more promising to me than fucking Wilshere ever was... Motm? I don't think he out did a few others but his effort and defense was massive and did the dirty work. I like Arnie more and more when he focuses and try's his best. Excellent post, I thought he had a good game. Extended highlights shown last night, highlighted a few excellent skills that I missed at the game! Great addition to the club

Does all the hard work but passing is absolutely atrocious. Think his pass completion rate was 88% and has been there for several games this season! many players would love to have that pass completion rate.

I love to watch talented players and Arnie is undoubtedly very talented and he is great to watch when he shows his skill. Often talented players can look lazy as they seem to have more time on the ball and often less talented players are not on the same wavelength. He is getting better and starting to show his ability and is being noticed by the media. I loved his reaction when john walters put the pen away, he was over to him and really giving him a big man hug. He appears to be really happy and I think next season he will see the best of him and I think now that will be in the prem. Happy days

Sometimes the best players can dissapear till the moment they turn a piece of real skill. Defoe is one. Dont see much of him then he turns up just at the right time.

Apart from a 10 minute spell around the half hour mark when he seemed to have totally switched off Arnie was outstanding yesterday.
For me the very fact that he managed to raise his head and get involved again after whatever it was that was troubling him had passed was very good sign. In past games when he has drifted off he hasn't got it back. Yesterday's performane was another welcome indicator of how good he really could be.

Next year we will see his best. He's playing well at the moment and hopefully he'll keep that up (and bag a few goals too) for the important run ahead. Many mistakes, but also many moments of brilliance too. That'll improve I'm sure. Pretty similar player-fan relationship to the one we had with Ric. If he loses the ball it's quite amusing to hear everyone going "ohhhh come on Arnie" like he's their nine year old son playing on a Sunday morning Sorry mate, but yesterday i couldn´t see many mistaktes of Arni....in former games i would agree, but yesterday i think it took 30 minutes till Arni lost the ball first time. Oh I'm not complaining! I was speaking generally rather than just yesterday.

Yeah he only made 3 crosses. 3 more crosses than Walters and Assaidi have made all season (an exaggeration but You get my drift) and 3 absolutely cracking crosses.
He was excellent yesterday.

The thing is that a lot of his passes are if successful likely to create a goal scoring opportunity, if he can do that 3 or 4 times a game then he'll be worth his weight in gold. We've finally got a player that shows some composure on the ball and there are idiots screaming "get rid of it" makes me fucking cringe it does.
Best is to come from him, he's still played relatively little football in this country.

Arnautovic was excellent today, but for me Whelan was man of the match. For 90 minutes his concentration was unwavering and he covered the defence so well. Very quick out to close down Arsenal players receiving the ball in front of him, and won a lot of one on one challenges too Only thing you can ever fault him for is his distribution under pressure but that wasn't a problem today at all. Very good display, and when Hughes decided to add energy in centre midfield with Ireland, then the decision for the player coming off was between N'zonzi and Adam such was his importance. Great display. Whelan MOTM for me today, but Arnie great and also Wilson very very good too. He's been so prone to mistakes past few months at key moments, but he's improving every game. I know its an unpopular opinion but I prefer Wilson there in the long run because his distribution is so good. Whelan was brilliant. Top notch showing.

I would like to see him running at defenders a bit more, but yeah does seem to be improving the more games he plays.

There is a potentially fantastic player in Arnie and, given his, age i think we may see something pretty special over the next couple of seasons.

They said Pulis was a football dinosaur as well Answer the question please Yes Pulis is a footballing dinosaur and will not make a decent manager, infact I doubt after leaving stoke he'll ever manage in the top flight ever again. I'm still miffed at arnie averaging 5.5.

General play excellent, but his mind seems to short circuit when he gets near the goal, possibly trying too hard. But he seems to be improving every week, in my opinion. Agree. Just before he came off he had the excellent run and nearly played Ireland in.....he had done all of the hard work as well. This is his first season so next year a better assessment can be made. I quite like him and he is deceptive with the ball running past players( I don't know what it is as I don't think it's blistering pace) but he reminds ever so slightly of Gazza early on...maybe it's just that he's brave and prepared to give it a go?

Well, completely ignoring the bollocks of ONE lunatic on here (can't believe he's been given the time of day), Arnie was very very good yesterday. His technique is that of a top drawer footballer. I think his desire and power to shrug players off yesterday was the highlight for me though. There's certainly still a long way to go for him, and I'm sure we'll still have a a few 'downs' to go with the ups, but if he can learn how to deal with a setback on the pitch (which he did well yesterday) then the sky really is the limit for him. His arrogance when controlling a football, or just a simple thing like rolling his foot over the ball before he delivers a pass or a cross, makes my willy tingle

Hanson called him a fantastic player.
I tend to agree.
He is a class above the rest of our players, but similar to N'Zonzi, he just needs to show it on a regular basis.

I posted about Arnie a few weeks ago saying that I could not understand some Stokies love in with him, technically brilliant but didn't do enough for me but more performances like yesterday consistently then I'll stand corrected. Very good game yesterday, more of the same Arnie.
