Absolutely brilliant. MOTM for me. The quality of his delivery, strength, pace was outstanding today, and I think we can finally put to bed the myth that he's lazy - the way he sprinted back and won so many balls back was fantastic to see.
More performances like that please Arnie.
P.S. FUCKING GET INNNN!

He was fantastic. Best performance in a stoke shirt yet. Seemed to be able to shrug the arsenal players off when running with the ball and gis passing was superb.

I enjoyed seeing the change in his attitude. He still has some improvement to do, but when he did come close to falling into his own petulant little world he very quickly snapped back to reality and started working to make up for his mistakes. Keep it up Arnie!

Great performance, took the pressure off many times with his tracking back and neat passing.

Yes he was great today and his control of the ball and the time he seems to have is always the sign of a class player.
And he's deceptive in that he doesn't seem to be quick but still seems able to run past players.

Arnautovic was excellent today, but for me Whelan was man of the match. For 90 minutes his concentration was unwavering and he covered the defence so well. Very quick out to close down Arsenal players receiving the ball in front of him, and won a lot of one on one challenges too
Only thing you can ever fault him for is his distribution under pressure but that wasn't a problem today at all. Very good display, and when Hughes decided to add energy in centre midfield with Ireland, then the decision for the player coming off was between N'zonzi and Adam such was his importance.
Great display. Whelan MOTM for me today, but Arnie great and also Wilson very very good too. He's been so prone to mistakes past few months at key moments, but he's improving every game. I know its an unpopular opinion but I prefer Wilson there in the long run because his distribution is so good.

Arnie did well today but it'd be Whelan or Pieters for me who were both great.

Completely forgot most of the poor balls he made in the first half then? I must have imagined it then. Yes he made a pearler of a cross but look back at the game. I wast the only one. He's coming on though.
I will agree that it was one of Geoff's poorer games.

If you're talking about pinged balls then how about the one Shawcross did in the first half. Ryan was a colossus today - MAGNIFICENT.
Arnie was great, him and N'Zonzi have real quality but they are massively frustrating at times. I thought our midfield as a whole were tremendous.

At times lazy, at times petulent. Moan over. Positives: tracked back for his mistake, ran well with the ball, worked with Nzonzi and the rest of the team well... .... But by far best of all, came back onto the pitch to applaud us fans, I for one thought it was ace! Well done Arnold

Beginning to look the real deal.
Still drifts out of the game too much for my liking and obviously he isn't fully fit yet.
But he is improving all the time and I think by next season we will have a real star at the club.

People see what they want to see. Arnie is absolutely NOT lazy, works his bollocks off. He's one of the most naturally gifted players we've ever had. He's capable of passing as well as anyone in the team He also plays it backwards as much as Nzonzi does (but of course that doesn't get noticed) And he also plays some poor balls, and showboats pointlessly in the middle of the park sometimes. Hey ho.
Those that like him will only see the good, those that don't will see the bad. Ditto for Nzonzi - who I thought had a really good game today, but no doubt there'll be plenty who only saw him pass it backwards.....

Don't get me wrong he had a decent game but he was so frustrating, he busted a gut to track back and win the ball, but was lazy with it, some really really lazy passing.

I still think we should expect more end product from Arnie, but his potential is awesome! If he can get his full potential out he'll be a world beater!
