I still think we should expect more end product from Arnie, but his potential is awesome! If he can get his full potential out he'll be a world beater! some great delivery today just need some goals

If you're talking about pinged balls then how about the one Shawcross did in the first half. Ryan was a colossus today - MAGNIFICENT. Arnie was great, him and N'Zonzi have real quality but they are massively frustrating at times. I thought our midfield as a whole were tremendous. That pass should be emailed to Woy with the message "Don't believe the media, make your own mind up you tool." PS Arnie was ace. Ten minutes from the end he sucked in two players then burst away with a blast of pace before just failing to set Ireland away.

Misplaces more balls than he should but he's absolutely bags of potential. One of the balls he misplaced, he was about to throw his arms up and sulk, but instead he steamed up after the player and won the ball back.

Looked happier today, probably the reason for the good game. People on here have still got to defend their stances though.

Was very good. He's starting to come into his own. Good thing too because our creativity out wide now rests almost entirely on him.

Must admit today I really noticed what a "great player" he can be. He'll get space against teams like Arsenal but it's the games against the teams around us where he needs to play out of skin to make the difference otherwise we look like a team with ten players from the off.

Not got tome to read the whole thread but am making the effort to say that was by far Arnie's best performance for us so far.

Thought he had a good game, ruined by some careless passing but he did work hard and obviously has talent. Don't think he was MOM hoewever ,for me a toss up between Shawcross and Whelan.

He did his job well today. He prevented Sagna from getting down the right side and putting in dangerous crosses. I'm glad Wenger only brought the Ox on in the last few minutes. He was a handful for Pieters and Ethers

I've stood behind him from day one and still stick to my guns. He will get better with better players around him. Players with better movement and more pace.
One worry is when he does click. Stay close to your tissues and count the days down till he leaves.
He's a brilliant footballer and will prove it over the next few seasons. I hope we keep him for as long as we can.

You wouldn't believe a few weeks ago posters were calling him 'wank' and saying we should get rid... Idiots!

Arnie was brilliant today but wasn't MOM for me, he's putting in a lot of effort off the ball, still a bit lazy with some of his passes but he's getting better and better.

I don't care about some of his misplaced passes they were pretty harmful. His pace, strength, vision, ability to read a game, intelligence, skill, tackling crossing, majority of passing is so good. I've noticed that even some of the best full backs in the league are struggling against him & not being effective. Just like some of us predicted, he is getting better with every game that goes. He should easily be able to hit double figures every season for assists & that for me is enough to compensate for his lack of goals.
Very noticeable to see that most of our best chances are due to Arnie having some involvement , & personally he is the only player that really makes me get off my seat when he is driving forward. Class today & the 20,000 of us that gave him a standing ovation as he departed acknowledged this. Very classy afterwards coming back on to clap us. Keep it up Arnie.

Excellent today.
Loved the way him and Pieters walked over to the thank the Boothen after the match.
I think Pieters has got the Stoke project. I think Arnie is getting there too.

He played well but he needs to play well more often he can't just turn up for the half a dozen games against the big boys. We need him to deliver against the likes of Norwich, Cardiff and West Brom and so on.

I really think people are asking too much. When were defending, everyone around me wants him to track both the right winger AND right back, not to mention cut off passes between them and the midfield players. Then as soon as we win the ball back and launch it forward, they all expect him to be overlapping crouch and driving forwards with the ball.
He's our only decent counter attacking winger. Why do we want him blowing out of his arse after 15 minutes chasing the ball around like 5 year olds in PE?
