If it doesn't go well tonight and we're on the end of a bad defeat tomorrow, I think Hughes and the team will take some stick.
I really despair at the clowns running our club.

Two different managers and no change in approach. We now know where the blame clearly lies. No hiding places now. No bullshit and no kiddums.

It needs something to shake them up if they don't put the effort and work in tomorrow the slow dire football sums up the lack of passion currently and that applies to players , football and non football management ,hughes and the fans

Do you mean on this board, or in real life?
If we put in a performance like we did against Man City/Chelseae at the Brit, even if we get undone by a multi-millionpound wizadry from the Mata, Van Persie, Rooney brigade. And we set up to at least create a bit of chaos for their potentially vulnerable back line. Then I think fair minded folk will keep the faith.
Meanwhile if we crumple against Man Utd tomorrow {like we did in the second half there, and in the shambolic CCup debacle}. If Crouchie remains in splendid isolation, and he doesn't uses subs better, and doesn't rehearse a few set pieces and corners with them. There might be a bit of moaning and froth. I'm not going in for 'I predict a riot' nonsense just yet. There's still a lot more head scratching and arse twitching to go before it gets to that stage.

Fuck me. You're like a bunch of spoilt children.
Coates has funded five years of massive spending but- for the first time in years- has chosen to provide a budget that is a bit more in-keeping with our status.
I admit that the decision to change manager should perhaps have been coupled with at least one more season of big money, but Peter Coates owes us absolutely NOTHING.

Whilst Hughes has to shoulder some of the blame as that is what he gets paid for, there are other factors in this to consider. He needs help and is quite clearly not getting it from the people with money. I said last month that if he isn't backed with some decent money we are going to be in the shit, and it seems we are. Obviously shit substitutions, baffling tactics and some woeful luck have combined to shit on us as well, but to not back the manager with serious money when we are in the shit and after half a season is nigh on fucking criminal.
I expect Pulis back at Stoke within 12 months if not sooner.

That's a relief, when I saw the title thread I was worried that we were being warned there was going to be a resumption of the violence from the 70's and 80's that some on here predicted before the league cup game . I felt a bit daft stood on me own outside Stoke station with my new doc's, wrangler jacket and scarf tied to my wrist and not a sniff of mither.

So he will be the only manager who is not responsible for poor results. 1 point in 6 games - I suppose this os Mr Coates fault. Mr Coates has made on hell of a mistake and it's not results.

Why would supporters get angry after watching 90 minutes of attractive passing football, plenty of possession, and wholehearted commitment from the lads in red and white?

Be a pisser if they put the club up for sale and demanded all the money back they had invested that has not been converted to shares/written off. We could be the new Portsmouth!

We need to let the board know that Scholes needs to be sacked! It's not the players fault, it's not MH's fault he gives his wishes and the clown Scholes is then meant to earn his keep! The team needs our support Scholes needs our anger and fury!

If MH puts out a decent first XI, we have a right go,and lose something like 1-3, I'll be happier than if Crouch and Walters start and we're treated to a weak-as-piss 0-2.
