We really really need a point tomorrow. But realistically any point against Utd is a bonus. Now is not the time for in fighting. We need to group together, stop dishing out blame and support the team to survive.

I think we are entitled to ask why there have been no decent signings given our position. I have no truck with those who abuse our owners or past and current management but it is alegitimate question

OMG pugsley will be wanting TP back next with RAF (bravo) I dont want him back, but I did say just before he was sacked that there was no use replacing him if the new man wasnt backed at least as well as he was. If penny pinching was the order of the day the decision to sack Pulis was astonishingly fuckwitted! H

Fuck me. You're like a bunch of spoilt children. Coates has funded five years of massive spending but- for the first time in years- has chosen to provide a budget that is a bit more in-keeping with our status. I admit that the decision to change manager should perhaps have been coupled with at least one more season of big money, but Peter Coates owes us absolutely NOTHING. He may owe us nothing but I can't see why we shouldn't question his commitment and plans for the club. It's obvious they're to busy down there putting together the begging letters for season ticket renewal next month rather than sign some players. Still you do get an extra 4 games in the Championship for your money. Amateur hour, end of. Played like a fiddle by a direct rival for relegation. Naive at best, fucking clueless at worst.

I admit that the decision to change manager should perhaps have been coupled with at least one more season of big money, but Peter Coates owes us absolutely NOTHING. Perhaps Coates should have curbed the budget before we spunked a shit load of it on players with no re-sale value or who were not played by the previous manager. Maybe, we'd have had a few quid to spend under our new manager and potentially seen a progression. I feel sorry for Hughes, he's been shafted!

...the atmosphere could turn very ugly after the game. If we at least give them a game and get a respectable defeat, I think the crowd will acknowledge that, but if they hump us 3 or 4-nil, which isn't exactly impossible, I think we could start to see a little unrest in the camp. And i don't think MH or the players will be the ones getting the flack. Something's rotten within the club, today was a throwback to transfer deadline days of the past. Really depressed with the direction the club seems to be going on and off the pitch

If their is to be some animosity due to our "lack" of signings (when actually...we did sign players) then I would hope it not aimed at Hughes, or even Coates. If we were in for so many players who either weren't interested (Ince), Club made us look like muppets (Catermole), or just plain incompetence (Late night arrival from Rennes) then the Dastardly Duo of Scholes & Carto should have the venom vented

Clowns running the club? what the ones who organised and funded our rise from third tier to Premier League? Then why stop now,do they want to send us back to the third tier? I seem to remember going to the Millennium stadium & beating Brentford to get out of the 1st Div & the Icelandics funded that battle. So the current Clowns only got us out of the 2nd tier...

Maybe we could bus down a few people from Blackburn to help organise a protest against the board I'm sure we'd all loved to have seen a phalanx of new playing stock before the window snapped shut but we will solve nothing by turning on ourselves. There will be men on the pitch today that weren't at the club in December. We haven't blown a silly amount of cash and we've rid the club of a cancerous element (even if Dave Kitson sees it differently). Having failed to invest to the fashionable premiere league water mark, we may or may not avoid the drop. There will likely be at least two other teams that have spent more than us that will be relegated. Let's have a bit of faith and try and enjoy the big days out, lest the become distant history.

Hughes' scatter gun approach to the transfer window didn't help, nor did chasing targets who had no intention of joining us, then go for a French winger 2 hrs from the close?? Shambles from all parties bar our ex manager. Just move on he's gone forget him

Even Ince is a gamble and won't be there next season. It's precisely those kind of signings that have contributed to the mess we're in. I find it amazing grown men can't see that.
