Why oh why we still haven't signed this guy I will never know. Offers everything we need but we are still pissing about looking up,dead ends.
Anyway, Blackpool have announced he's going on loan to a prem club for the remainder of the season when he will then become out of contract. Somebody's getting a good player on loan for the remainder of the season and once again its not us.
I've got no problem, with us not spending big money but Inve would have been affordable and is exactly what we've been crying out for 18 months now. It was this time last year Pulis wanted to sign him.
I don't think people realise how good a player he is. With Walcott out I wouldn't be surprised to see his end up in the world cup squad.

We ain't spending 6-8 million on footballers anymore. That ship has sailed and we blew it big time.
I said it at the time. It's enough to make you weep, it really is.

He's out of contract at the end of season, he won't be going for that money. Blackpool would snap your hands off for 3 m right now.

We wouldn't even spend 3 million by the looks of it.

What are the odds of it being Palace where he is going I wonder? Swansea is probably where the smart money is though.

Good signing for whoever he ends up at. The problem we have, is a lot of teams strengthened back in the summer spending a lot of money. I would say even though some haven't made an impact yet, its only a matter of time before they do.

We should be on the blower to Blackpool and Ince right now finding out how much it will take to get him here. Why the fuck should Swansea be a more attractive proposition than Stoke plus we have location in our favour which is not very often. The guy is out of contract in 6 months so surely a deal can be done here? What on earth are we thinking if we are not in for the lad?

Maybe with Hughes and Ince being former teammates, there is a very good chance he will end up here!

Hughes knows his Dad, Tom and Butland will know each other from the U21's, we've got facilities to match anyone's and he has virtually a guaranteed starting spot.
If we can't beat literally everyone else around us for his signature, we deserve to go down.

If you believe the paper talk, we had a deal arranged for him last January that wasn't sanctioned/tied up. Hmm. I wonder if the same thing will happen this year. There's no work permit hearing for Hughes to disappear to on deadline day, but perhaps he'll be sent away on a scouting mission in Russia and come back to find Wilson loaned out to Brighton. That said, I'm not so sure about Ince. He's gone massively off the boil this season, possibly due to bigger clubs turning his head. I suppose his inevitable big move might freshen him up a bit.
