I am worried it will be 2-0 to Blunderland - with the Stoke City Charity bus rolling into town yet again.

Perhaps I am deluded or missing something, but how are most people predicting we lose to a team that only managed the same score line against Kidderminster on the weekend, as we did away to Chelsea? I know we are not exactly a high flying side right now, but Sunderland seem like a bit of a dumpster fire themselves. Fully expect us to go in and grab a 2-0 win. I have faith (misplaced as it may be)

I think a draw is in the cards but I doubt we will go in there and come away with 3 points just dont see the goals tbh.

Indeed, use corners! Instead of repeatedly wasting excellent chances to put a ball in and make a chance.

Begovic
Cameron . Shawcross? . Wilson . Pieters
Whelan
Arnautovic . Ireland. Adam . Assaidi
Guidetti
We need to start games at home with the intent of winning them, especially against the likes of Sunderland. I can't see a situation where players the intelligence of Ireland and Adam can't figure out a way of rotating the 'number 10' role and the deeper role, something both players have done in the past with a protector sat holding. That, and I'm sick of seeing N'Zonzi slow any sort of attacks we start right down, so anything is worth a shot on the creative front.

Hughes said: “Peter has one or two things to tie up in terms of his work permit, but if they are all sorted in time then he be part of the squad."

A win tomorrow and we can put some breathing space between us and the bottom 3. Massive ask though as we are usually toss at the stadium of shite.

Could dramatically change our season, a possible rise to 11th, 7 points clear of the bottom 3, attract a decent signing before Friday, all fired up to play United on Saturday. Goooooaaaarrrrrrnnnnnnn Stoke

A win would be massive, a draw a good result a loss a disaster. Simple as. Did someone say Eric's out tomorrow with a hamstring. If not I'd go with.
...........................Bego........................
GCam........Wilson........Ryan........Eric
................NZonzi........Whelan............
...........................Adam.......................
.....Odom...........Gudietti.......Assaidi...
Surely he can't start with JW again.

Sides like us that aren't very creative need to make the most of set opieces but ours are utter shyte unless I'm mistaken we haven't had a goal from a set piece all season. No goals from headers either. That's utter wank. A team like us needs these types if goals . We're nit barca Ffs!! Can't expect to roll in with the ball into the opposition net

If we seriously line up with him and guidetti on the bench with Walters crouch and whelan all getting a starting place I will really despair. Sparky's line-ups and predictability are too reminiscent of the capped one

Different team for Sunderland surely? Bego Geoff (poor today though) Erik has had a string of poor games - time for Muniesa? assuming Huth still out Ryan & Wilson again Whelan still injured? if not he might come in otherwise WP keeps his shirt NZonzi Arnie played well so he gets in for me as does Assaidi or will he play Odemwinge wide? Adam Guidetti up top? We need to shake it up for def. The team for me tonight would be- Bego Cameron, Shawcross, Wilson, Muniesia, Odewhinge, adam, N'Zonzi Ireland, Assadi Guidetti Give it a whirl we need start scoring goals. If we start with the normal rubbish I will start to lose faith.
