The best contributions on this incredibly boring thread come from Tazi, Wuzza and Sheik Momo without a shred of doubt. Absolutely brilliant lads. Ayup, the Beswicks spy is on.

Ayup, the Beswicks spy is on. Always a pleasure to associate with the message board's most creative genius. I prostrate myself in front of the Marksman. Some times I think the printers have fucked up and put Woodbine's logo atop the wrong article! Your Pulis obituary was pure woodbine. Brilliant

Brilliant Ah but I haven't your latitude for dreaming up brilliant fiction and repeating it continually until it crystallises into fact (in my own mind) I keep reading your posts and thinking David Irving has taken over your username. p.s. I never ever wrote a Pulis obituary. I was too busy celebrating Peter Coates.... sorry, Mark Cartwright sacking him.....sorry, mutually agreeing with Tony that he was wank..... sorry, that he had been undermined and it was for the benefit of Tony's manhood he left. But carry on and I have no doubt the never happened article will become a fact.

I see Kempy is back as TP's right hand man at Palace. That's arguably the first mistake he has made since he went there. I can't see what Kemp brings to the party at all.

I always thought Kempy influences Pulis to play more defensively.

There's plenty on here that don't fail to remind you that you can't just support the club without supporting Hughes. Well not in so many words but the abuse one gets pretty much adds up to the same thing.
It's great how some things just don't even themselves out.
Still, that night was bloody priceless.
Hee hee hee.

I think most rational people will support a new manager and wish him well until given cause not to. It was an excellent evening. My knees still hurt from all that praising of St Peter.

Shame some can't change back once they realised they starting hating the manager too early after totally misjudging the cause.

He talks so highly of Stoke as a club and a place and after all that he achieved I just can't get my head round some of the hatred directed at him It's disgraceful to direct hatred at him. He did so Much for Stoke. He should be treated like a hero.

What has he said about the game V Stoke? Stoke have been in the Premiership longer than Palace,so Stoke will be hard to beat,Stoke have more spending power than Palace,Palace in reality cant compete against that?

Surely he would of known that before he signed, they can hardly shell out like other clubs, and who would blame them, after the past few years they have had financially

isn't the main problem they're facing the fact that the chairman has buggered off on holiday to Barbados halfway through the transfer window?

Tony pulis in my eyes is a stoke city legend.. It's down to him and Peter Coates, were we are today.. Some really deluded so called stoke fans with any sence will say the same thing. Yeah it wasn't pretty bout it was affective.. GOD BLESS TONY PULIS.

He talks so highly of Stoke as a club and a place and after all that he achieved I just can't get my head round some of the hatred directed at him The actual amount of 'hatred' is limited to a small, tiny minority, probably similar is number to those who have a hatred of Hughes. Not agreeing with his tactics or mentality is not hatred; Not agreeing with his transfer policy is not hatred; Not agreeing to serenading him on Saturday before or during or game is not hatred; Being disappointed that we didnt make the most of post 2011 is not hatred; Being disappointed over the last half season (of the last two seasons) is not hatred; Thinking that it was time for him to go is not hatred; Not constantly living on past (comparative) glories is not hatred. I'm sure almost every single Stokie would, if asked about him, be incredibly grateful for his role in where we are now, but it is all about Stoke for me and TP is no longer part of that.
