Bloody hell. They tested the voting mechanism earlier Joe for the election later and it became apparent that five of the delegates didn't even know that Germany had won the World Cup! They're trying to do a vote on Israel/Palestine right now and the whole thing is a farce, they've had to call lawyer's to the stage because they don't know how to do it! Bonkers ...

Will be interesting to see if any of the big sponsors reconsider their involvement? i'd imagine they'll all await the outcome of the various investigations first. yeah we all know what corrupt gits they are but they're not going to pull out unless anything is proven given the tens of millions they'll all have already put into it over the years none of the sponsors will leave simply because Blatter is still President, it's all about those that are being investigated and the outcome of that

Does it usually take this long to rig a vote?

Does it usually take this long to rig a vote? I'm sure all votes will be thoroughly checked and audited. By FIFA.

Does it usually take this long to rig a vote? No, the answer is known, going through the motions of pretending it isn't rigged takes the time

If it does go to a second ballot do we have to go through all of this again?

If it does go to a second ballot do we have to go through all of this again? I suppose that they vote as often as it takes, until Blatter wins.

Why should Prince Ali be any better than Blatter? I wouldn't trust anybody who has anything to do with the FIFA machine.

Blathers won it ....133 votes to 71. There you go .... No he hasn't. He'll win it on the second ballot of course but Ali was attempting to stop Blatter winning in the first round of voting, which he has achieved - in effect it shows a big lack of confidence in Blatter and will be considered a victory by his critics.

Sepp Blatter is a cunt. The whole organisation is in turmoil, under his watch, and he claims he is the best man to put it right. The very man that has overseen FIFA get into this mess in the first place. How is he even allowed the chance to be re - elected?

That depends if folk vote the same way second time round. There'll be plenty of lobbying going on at the moment.
