I thought we prefer to be the underdogs and prove everyone wrong?
You would think after spending nearly 100 million on players we should if moved in from proven people wrong and being underdogs

I imagine some of these comments will change by the end of the transfer window, if things go our way.

What I would is that the likes of Norwich, Swansea, Southampton, Cardiff are probably spent out now. We have barely sorted (hopefully). I can see us getting at least 2/3 more in. With some good attacking players things could quickly change. Let's not give up hope.

However rational the observation if you say anything critical about us you become a hate figure. We aren't half precious

Fuck Collymore, fuck the press and fuck anyone who's written off LMH and the Stoke players before a ball has been kicked this season.
If everyone has got us at the bottom then there's only way to go. Fuck 'em.
And I want us to be last on MOTD every week. I don't care. Fuck 'em.

Collymore has us down to be relegated
Which means....?

Dont forget collymore only says things for effect and for his radio phone ins. He didn't like us before, but said he did as the country hated us and pulis and gets fans ringing up.
Loves to be controversial does Stan.

Why are they all thinking this? Its beyond me.Weve a stronger squad than before particularly in defence, the midfield are purring, but yes,we are still lacking up front. Are we worse than Norwich, the toon,Villa,Soton,Everton(why aren't they being touted?).....I haven't even mentioned the newly promoted.I suggest he goes and dogs himself in a car park and its a shame cos I used to like him!

With some good attacking players things could quickly change. Let's not give up hope. Swansea and Norwich maybe. I don't think Sunderland, Southampton and Cardiff have. Their pockets seem surprisingly deep. Villa could go again too, if they free themselves of Bent. I think our squad is very poor at the moment. Great keeper Very good centre-halves. Seemingly decent left-back(s)- though both completely untested in the Prem. Poor right-backs. N'Zonzi class act Rest of midfield very questionable. Adam may come good, but grave doubts over Palacios. Whelan not up to it. Wilson not trusted. Shocking wide options. Poor strikeforce

Yeah, we are worse than those you've mentioned at scoring goals. It's goals that win games, not passing backwards and sideways.

I can't see Stoke being relegated, but there are a few dangers ahead.
The biggest one is fear, which you can begin to see on this board. It's vitally important that fear and apprehension doesn't spread to the crowds on match days, if early results are not great.
Tension amongst the fans can spread to the players really quickly and one of Stoke's great weapons has been support at the Brit.
The club should stick with Hughes, whatever and the crowd must stick with the players, whatever.

Relegated or not I'll be there in 14/15 Admittedly the midweek championship games might cause issues at work. However the away days alone will be a million times better. What will be interesting is how out home crowds bear up once the glory hunters have absconded to another team.

This is why I say other than the training ground, we really are poor off it in many things, too many to mention.
We've gone from a team who the media had us as never getting relegated, to one of the favourites. We had fans packing the stadium to no buzz about the place. Corners filled In and media buildings built to unsold season tickets and still the garden shed surrounded by more weeds than alan Titchmarsh could handle.
we as a club just don't know how to drive things off the pitch and many things are championship tin pot.

It all comes down to us signing a striker , if we can add 15+ goals to our tally we should be ok
