snapper23, I cannot think of a more dangerous thing to do , to tell the manager he is out at the end of the season. What would that achieve? FA Cup and Europa League if it's Benitez

If it was my choice I would go for Steve Clarke.

So a bloke who engineered wins over Barcelona and then Bayern Munich, using Pulis-style tactics, isn't good enough for Stoke? Yep. Just like the bloke who engineered our return to the Premier League, defied the odds to keep us up, got us to our first ever FA Cup Final and made our home ground one of the most feared in English football. Whereas the Bearpit is now more like Iris' Home For Cats. At least you're starting to see that the last 18 months have been unacceptable and change is needed.

If it was my choice I would go for Steve Clarke. Yeah I've been very impressed by him but I'm not sure he'd come. Very much a sideways move. And WBA have proved they have bouncebackability........

Depends on how much money we have available for the new man to spend I reckon. West brom would be a club that would let him go too for the right money.

I suppose it does suggest that capable managers are out there and can often be found in the back room staff.

snapper23, I cannot think of a more dangerous thing to do , to tell the manager he is out at the end of the season. What would that achieve? If he's being offered a bonus if he keeps us up quite a lot probably. Takes away the uncertainty, gives Pulis a chance to keep his 'record' intact and if they tell the fans it'd give the place a massive lift. Win win

Don't trust him to keep us up at all! What did he do at WBA? Not good enough with average players! Holloway is my choice if Tony is to go! Holloway - don't trust him to keep us up at all! What did he do at Blackpool (apart from relegation)? Not good enough with average players! Solksjaer is my choice when Tony HAS to go! Solskjær plays a football I don't think we have players for at the moment! Much more tiki-taka you see! I'm almost certain we would go down if he took over now!
