Do it for my old man.
Last game we did together was the Baggies at the Vic with my wife and his grandchildren. Last ever photo of us all together.
Bought his season ticket for the first season at the Brit but died suddenly before the season started.
Do it for H (1921-1997) RIP

Do it for Dad
Ivan James Breese Royal Engineers 1935-1977
Father of six, never got to see any of his 19 grandchildren born. Would have had a word or two to say about modern, over-paid fancy-dan footballers

My dad, Ivar, who died on Christmas Day in 1994. He and mum gave me my first Stoke-kit in 1974 and I was told that Stoke was "the real deal".
My Best Man, Willy, who died some years ago and was a huge footie fan.
Anders Kristian Stangebye, who died far to young six years ago. He helped the Scandinavian Supporters Club a lot.

Ooops, I posted this as a new thread below, soz.
'It would be very apt should we gain promotion at Colchester if it was only for the memory of Coddy Hughes (RIP) who, as older Stokies might remember was killed in the Robin Hood in Colchester, after a game at Ipswich back in the seventies.
Gooo on Pulis, do eet for Coddy.'

For Adrian Quinn who died last summer. He was a scot by birthright but was bought up here and supported Celtic and the Mighty Potters with equal passion.
I've been following Stoke for 30 years but he had forgotten more about Stoke than I'll ever know.
He would have loved this. Loved it.
And for my dad, who took a young lad to see Stoke play Newcastle (when Malcolm Macdonald was playing!) and made me realise that this was my team for as long as I lived.
Do it for both of you.

SIOCh Maybe take the smiley face of your post mate? Why ? It's nice that people are mentioning people that they have lost, stop being so morbid. They're all watching down on us, cheering the lads on , i'm just taking heart from this because Stoke winning promotion will not only delight thousands of Stokies here, but thousands more up above us.

Do it for Dave (Block 22, Row 22, Seat 345).
Dave I knew you for a few short years but I never knew your surname, it's never been the same since you were taken from us. We miss you mate, will be thinking of you before the Leicester game, I know you'd be loving it right now.
God bless fella.

Do it for my mum, died last year on the day we turned around a game at home vs Leicester (Mar 31). A Stoke fan through and through, took me to matches when I was younger and my dad could not (e.g. vs Ajax).
For personal reasons, I was spending a lot of time out in Madrid the 2 years before she passed away and I relied on her to text me the score and scorers after matches and she never let me down.
We went to the Millenium together (vs Brentofrd) and I thought we were going to make the play-offs last season after she passed away so that I oculd go to Wembley in her memory (she would definitely have gone with me if we had made it and she was still around).
I know she will be smiling down right now and I hope we make that smile continue for another 2 weeks and into the Prem.
Come on Stoke !

Do it for my Dad.
He first took me down to the Vic in 1962 when Sir Stan came back.
The last game he was able to go to was the 7-nil thrashing we got from Birmingham ,so I think he's owed one! I'm sure he'll have a smile on his face if we finally do it!

Do it for Eddie Blunt (1918 - 1993) who played for all three local clubs but remained a Stokie 'til his dying day. Having played in the same team as the likes of Matthews and Steele, he wanted football to be played the right way. It pained him to see how low we'd sunk in his lifetime, I know how much he'd enjoy the prospect of a return to the big league. RIP - Do eet Stoke.
