I like Jones although he can be a lazy sod some times, I can't believe how many threads we have had stating Jones is crap but here we go again now it seems he is leaving you all love him priceless.

I do not like that one bit. I don't either. If we do sell him could TP lose the dressing room becuz by the sounds of it the players want him to stay.

I aren't his biggest fan and if we have a replacement lined up then I will be even less arsed but it does seem a tad mental to sell him. And then quotes like that from Huth worry the bejeebus out of me. Openly defiant to TP, worrying.

Do you not think it's possible that the people you've seen slagging him off are not the ones who want him to stay?

Remember Stoke have been a close knit team never really sold any players but now it must begin, the time has come where if we need to move on good players must go to make way for better. Whether we get a better replacement is yet to be seen but lets all be realistic here our goals are in short supply.

I can't work out posts like this. I've been a critic of KJ's in the past as he hasn't fulfilled his potential but on form he is currently our best striker so of course pretty much everyone is saying it's mental to sell him. Hardly rocket science, is it?

So the majority of the fans (it seems) want him to stay, the players want him to stay, HE seemingly wants to stay. He is currently by far and away the best striker at the club.
If he is sold, I will be more fucked off than I have been in a long time

Pulis said:'I think Kenwyne's best spell was early on. That spell when he first joined he was absolutely outstanding.'
Past tense, then.

His best spell is now...which makes it all the more ridiculous

as I re-read Pulis' statement above, it couldn't be more transparent if he tried. The twat.

Why all the fuss? KJ is too inconsistent. If a good offer comes along it makes sense to cash in when you have the chance. In 6 months time his value may have decreased. He may be our best option at the moment but that is not saying a lot. The whole forward options need a complete revamp. We can struggle through with Crouch and Adams as a make-weight until the end of the season. It won't be pretty but we will get to 40+ points. I don't care what TP says or does not say in public regarding this situation or how often he contradicts himself.

Kenwyne misses Kenwyne scores but the midfield - Adam, Whelan, Whitehead ét all, are they remotely a threat? We have a midfield that hardly ever scores or for that matter threads an opportunity for the forwards to score. Are their best days behind them too Tony?

Jones should stay until we can replace him.

Fair enough but I think there's a clear indication that we are actively encouraging Swansea's interests where we weren't in any potential moves for Ryan. Tone has been told to generate funds and Kenwyne is the only one we're willing to sell. It looks pretty clear from where I'm sitting anyway.

When I first heard of Swansea's interest I was worried like everyone else, since reading through the various reports I'm beginning to think it's the press making mountains out of molehills. I suppose time will tell.

KJ was lazy and had an absolute nightmare away at Villa last season.
He played like he had had enough of Stoke City and wanted a move away on the back of not being given a fair crack of the whip since the arrival of Crouch.
What does that have to do with this season where KJ has been excellent when coming on as a sub and more importantly as a starter over the last 9-10 games?

The results haven't been the best though have they? Personally, I couldn't care less if we sold him. As mentioned previously, he's inconsistent and flashes hot and cold. Currently he's on good form, but come February / March I wouldn't be at all surprised if he reverted to his old self.
