twitter.com/DarrellLovellAccording to Chris Canetti No decision on Cameron today.
Seems like urgency is setting in to get things resolved. For Cameron and the team.

Lets hope so, I know it's part of the course with Stoke but this is starting to take the f'king piss. He's been signing 'today' for what feels like an eternity.

To be fair with the price that's been banded about we can't really go wrong. Another bonus is he'll have the motivation to succeed at a bigger level, better than some name from Spurs reserves etc.

blog.chron.com/soccer/2012/07/are-dynamo-ready-for-cameron-clark-trade/“We’re talking and we’re trying to close the gap here and just tighten up loose ends. It’s one of those things where you feel like there’s progress being made, but it’s never too safe to say you’re close or it’s a done deal. I like the fact that we continue to talk and that the conversations are productive in the sense there’s meaningful dialogue with people giving and taking.
“Both parties still have a desire to get it done. Hopefully we can get this thing sorted out. I wouldn’t be surprised if by the time we wake up tomorrow morning they’re closer to a decision one way or another, yes or no. The Dynamo are losing patience, to be honest with you, in the process.
“We’re trying to be respectful to Geoff, trying to be respectful to the league, trying to be respectful to Stoke. But in the end of the day we have to look for our own backs. As we get closer to this transfer window closing, there’s going to come a time when we say, ‘Sorry folks.’ We’ve been cooperative throughout this process and we’ve been trying to work with everybody to make it work, but we have to start looking out for our own needs. That time is near.”

“@ortizkicks: Stoke & MLS made enough progress for @geoffcameron that he's been allowed to begin negotiating a deal with EPL club. Congrats, Geoff.” After all this shit & posturing we've STILL got to get a bloody work permit! Finally though

“@ortizkicks: Here's the link of the Cameron talks. t.co/FKPabwdI”“Both sides have worked very, very hard over the last few days to come much closer to a transfer agreement,” said Dynamo president Chris Canetti. “There is apparent light at the end of the tunnel for a deal to be done. However there is still work to be done, but nothing is 100 percent complete at this stage.”

Asked a local what he thought of him and...
“@darosenthal8: I think he's better than Stuart Holden if that helps. Both are my favorite players so I'm not talking trash. Has more Strength.”
“@darosenthal8: Holden probably has better dribbling, but Cameron has better passing and Tackling. Very Good in the Air. Has his mistakes at times”
“@darosenthal8: Geoff won't get a red card very often. Extremely disciplined. He's an expert at passing with the outside of his boot too.”
“@darosenthal8: Holden is much better at attacking then defending. Cameron is good at CB and CDM. Holden is a bit more active”
Asked about work permit
“@darosenthal8: No Problem. If Tim Ream got then he will get it. Speaking of Ream, Cameron is completely different player. Ream isn't as quick”
“@darosenthal8: Palacios is good but doesn't have the same technical skill. Wilson just has the physical strength to play there in PL”

If we get him I think it could be a master stroke. I'd like to see him given a few pre season games in midfield along side Palacios.

"Has his mistakes at times". Must be why we are only paying 3.1$, if he was f%#*€£>ing perfect he would probably cost a little more.
