It beggars belief! Another tall defender. Why can't they be smaller?! This one is 'versatile' too, WTF! And he's from 'abroad' why can't Pulis exploit the over the hill ex Sunderland, Spurs etc. players pool.

He could be an Astro-nomical signing.
And I shall proceed to collect my coat on my way out...

He'll be playing on the wing for half the season and in nets for the other half. Fool H

He's a player who has said he prefers to play centre back and would only move to Europe if he knew he was going to start. Central midfield it is then.......

Stoke have apparently made a bid according to the Houston TV announcer. Seems a reliable source. twitter.com/#!/GlennDavisSoc Stoke City has put in bid for @geoffcameron of Dynamo. Thoughts fans?Davis has hosted The Soccer Hour with Glenn Davis on KPFT and KBME as well as written a twice weekly soccer column for the Houston Chronicle. He also serves as the TV play-by-play voice for Houston Dynamo games.

I think America's potentially a good market for Pulis. English-speaking and generally a good work ethic. Seems a good size as well. Could he be cageable in midfield as well as cover at the back? Yes, America is definitely a good size.

Haha. Would he be guaranteed a work permit? He doesn't seem to be a regular for the US national team.

Interesting that that Houston announcer has gone on to suggest we maybe see him as a midfielder. He does look cageable based on his size and apparent quality on the ball. www.mlsplayers.org/files/May%2015,%202012%20Salary%20Information%20-%20By%20Club.pdf I love how open the MLS are with salaries. Looks like he's on a guaranteed $255,000-a-year there, so a head-turning wage increase would be easily manageable.

Looks very similar to Marc Wilson in the clips.
Has he ever played right back?

On twitter saying initial talks went well for the new defender come midfielder.
Apparently Cameron impressed Tone with his knowledge of all the films that Tone's favourite actor Nicolas 'cage' has appeared in. Looks like Cameron has done his homework.

In a way doesn't surprise you, but was hoping we would sign some real fullbacks and midfielders.

I love the MLS and surprised this fella hasn't been picked up already. Great versatile defender
As RAF pointed out thought he'll probably end up on the wing just like Huth, Upson and Shawcross have .............yawn
