Thanks for the memories, lad. More in your few fleeting appearances than Whitehead, Delap, Sidibe and Diao will provide in a lifetime between them. A tragedy for the club. But you'll be remembered as one of the greats however much Pulis tried to demean your talents. well said

Quoted Pulis
'Now we have signed John Carew and got Mama back from Injury we have plenty of options when you bear in mind the strikers signed in the last window'
That surely has to be the most depressing statement of all - He really see's Walters and Mama as options and values Carew (another big lump of shite IMHO) as a better bet
Wank Stoke - Fucking wank

Sidibe can't play football, no matter how much you repeat yourself. Are you trying to convince us or yourself?

Sidibe has done more for Stoke City than Tuncay has. But don't let that negate your agenda Done being the key word. The past has gone, and unless we plan to aimlessly hammer the ball for the rest of our Premier League days (something which Tone himself has said is not the plan) then his use to this club is done. But don't let that negate your agenda.

"Sidibe has done more for Stoke City than Tuncay has. But don't let that negate your agenda" That is a fucking ridiculous statement He was a key member of the team that got us promoted to the Premier League. He scored us winning goals in our first promotion season, where every point was critical. But lets rewrite the history books hey. (I didn't even mention Mama in this thread)

I liked Tunny, occasional flashes of brilliance. But for me ,he generated more heat than light. I am sad to see him go,but I'd be sadder if he was 15 goals a season. Never mind TP has signed Big John Carew, hopefully he will break his DUCK before the end of the season.

Come on stokelad, if you're trying to convince me that Sidibe is a better option than Tuncay then I can only conclude that you're fucking pissed.
Nothing against Sidibe, he's done us a sterling, honest job but he's 31, pushing 32 and he's really not up to Premier League standard. Surely even you can admit that.

Not sure what I'll miss most his fancy flicks to no-one in particular, his inability to hit the target when 10 yards or less from goal or his petulance when substituted for the good of the team.
Was never as influencial as some made out although I do wish him well.........

prestwichpotter, who was your choice to play ahead of Tuncay? Fuller with Jones/Carew/Sidebe. Whenever Ric is fit he should start as I'm concerned.

I agree with what you say prestwich, but Fuller just can't start every game, in fact he struggles to start one game these days. A front two of Carew/Jones, Carew/Mama, Jones/Mama etc etc doesn't look full of goals. Tuncay/Jones, Tuncay/Mama, Tuncay/Carew looks a bit more threatening.

Tuncay was back up for Fuller in my eyes but a relatively high profile player was never gong to be happy with that scenario. IF we can get a replacement I think it's a good move for all parties in the long run.

Personally i'm gutted that Tunny has gone....never had decent run in the team....TP really didn't know what to do with him. Never mind , Mama is almost fit .... conna wait !!!!! (being totally sarcastic obviously). Tunny had more natural ability than most of our team....pity we (TP) could't use it.

Well I will miss his goals like against the shit, his back heels like against Man City for Ethers equalizer, his defence splitting pass for the penalty against Bolton his reverse pass for Walters against the Baggies his quality delivery like against the shit for Whitehead
All in all pretty depressing
