Thanks for the memories, lad. More in your few fleeting appearances than Whitehead, Delap, Sidibe and Diao will provide in a lifetime between them. A tragedy for the club. But you'll be remembered as one of the greats however much Pulis tried to demean your talents. Now lets hang on a minute here. as much as I love Tunny "one of the greats" is stretching it a bit far isn't it. A few moments of genius and some nice overall play, but he was hardly Ronaldinho at the peak of his powers now was he? (though I do concede that at times when compared with Rory's spectacularly misplaced passes to the back of the stand it would be an easy mistake to make)

Can't say it'll cripple us but it's certainlya fair hit.
Now we've got a 31 year old impact sub that wants 55k, Carew, Walters, an fat fucking Icelandic and a fucking wheelie bin. Oh and Jones.
Over to you Tone?

Brilliant. Now are only real attacking 'spark' is a 31 year old, with bad knees, a bad shoulder and wants 55k a week. Nice one Tony A bit off-topic but would you mind giving us a rundown of the times Ricardo's knees have caused us problems in the 5 years he's been with us? As for Tunny, it's just a crying shame that TP couldn't find room for a player like that.

Not a good transfer window at all so far. I genuinely feel we've taken a backward step as a club.

You lot rate the guy too highly, ok, hes got the fancy feet, but how effective has he actually been for Stoke in terms of results when he has played. The answer is not very. I loved the guy also and at times he was a pleasure to watch, but it is no great loss.

Think about the local taxi firms. He was personally keeping them alive. As soon as he was dropped or subbed he was on the phone to them as fast as shit off a shovel.

I am disappointed but will stand by the managers decision If he is not replaced and we go into the rest of the season with Carew, Fuller, Jones I do fear for our footballing credentials

If we don't replace him with a quick, skillful striker who fits into our system, then it's a colossal, dreadful mistake.
If we do, it's really not the end of the world.

Oh well. Good luck to him, but some of the hysterical, menstrual nonsense being spouted is way over the top.
Tuncay isn't a 'great', nor will he be a great at any club he signs for. He'll always be a player with no position and the odd flash of brilliance. Ultimately, we've lost a squad player at best who won't be too sorely missed IF we get a versatile, reliable replacement.
If this means that Ric stays, I couldn't give a damn about Tuncay. Thanks for the few memories and good luck with Shteve.

Got a little emotional when I read his twitter post just now. One of the few cult hero's I've had in my time as a Stoke supporter and will go down alongside Hoekstra as one of the most wonderfully skilled players I've ever had the privilege of seeing in the red and white stripes.
I'm finding it pretty hard to refrain from 'effing and blinding about Tone selling him to be perfectly honest, even though I know even if he'd have stayed he wouldn't have been given the game time.
He wasn't a world beater, and he wasn't world class. But had such wonderful passion, played the game as it should be (with a smile on his face) and could make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up when he took a man on.
I'll miss you Tunch, thanks for the memories mate.

I wish Tunny the best of luck and am sure he'll get game time under McLaren. I do wonder why we bought the guy in the first place if we had no real idea of how to use him. That's the puzzle.

Are there any dimensional levels below "one"?

With Carew, Fuller & Jones in the forward line, we are fucking doomed. Bring back the 3 G's Gifton, Greenacre & Goodfellow.

Are there any dimensional levels below "one"? I believe the technical scientific term when referring to dimensional levels less than one is a "Pulis", though I may be mistaken.

proberly the best player ever to play for stoke who hasnt been given the credit he deserves......he comes on against spurs earlier in the season and completely changes the game......then gets dropped.....played well recently against bolton n everton.....that goal against man united....fuck me.......absolutley gutted hes gone....a true spirit and character who,s presense rubbed off on the other players....i love pulis but if there's one thing i hold against him its the way hes treated tunny.thuncay had the potential to be a MASSIVE stoke hero....never given enough opportunities to do so....sidibe and kitson were given more chance than him.....

the Tuncay performance against Bolton was a £10m player the Tuncay performance at Fulham £1m at best and that was his problem lack of consistancy match to match and during games.Said before but too much of a headless chicken
