Cockney Darren, what ever happend to him? And Mark too from the same kinda era Havnt seen Darren since the 80's. He's a proper dad now, (arnt we all) & takes his kids to watch his 1st love chelsea. Some of the lads are still in touch & see him when they're in London. I havnt seen Mark since palace away in the days before ID cards, but I don't get out much!!! I'll have to put you straight there mate, he's not much for chelsea at all nowadays, his eldest watches Palace if anything, they live in kent. Like you say, we meet up when we're in London, he was with us when England played Poland last year, he hasn't changed, if you know what i mean. Few of us are meeting him next saturday funnily enough, i'll pass on your regards. Your right about the vale blues pre season friendly, best kept off here eh. Hope you the missus and kids are okay, ain't seen you for a while, you still smoking cuban's? P

I stand corrected on Darren's whereabouts, I must have been fed misinformation by RH, either that or I'm so out of the loop that life is passing me by. All good down here & I haven't been to Cuba since the kids were born, so no cigars. Hope you're happy & you know itXx

I have never met Cockney Ted.I have strong feelings though about The London Supporters branch.Lets begin.Ive lived in Reading Berkshire for the past 25 years.I only became lets say introduced to them at the FA Cup Semi-Final.I met somebody by the name of Wokingham Potter.I won't mention his name out of respect. They say they are friendly and sociable.Think again.I can name 4 or maybe 5 people in that so called club or who are at least sociable.Monica Norman Cris Julia and Gary Zuk and Mark.Theres another guy from Muswell Hill but i can't think of his name.Gary Kemp there so called chairman blanked me at he AGM last May.I drink in Delilahs Bar at the ground and have done since the ground opened.I asked him at the AGM what he thought about about making Delilahs bar free to every body.I said the entrance fee should be kept on as it always worked. The response i got was that I'm not interested and you are not in my clique.A man who slags Malcolm Clarke off and all the good work he does for this football club.Think this supporters club is good think again. If Cris Reynolds was chairman this club would be totally different.Anyway rant over. Wrong thread mate because I can assure you Ted nor the other lads are nothing to do with the London supporters branch.

It's interesting you say you won't name 'Wokingham Potter' then do so? Cockney Ted is nothing to do with the supporters club, him and his lot drink with our lot at away games and are a friendly lot.

My lad's London-born and I've lived down here for, ooh, 33 years so that made singing, "Town full of looters," at home to Wet Sham that much funnier for the both of us.

Niko - I've now moved North but I lived in London for 13 years and 8 years in reading before that. I regularly meet up with the Southern supporters either in the White star before a home game or at what is always a cracking choice of pub before an away game. I've found them all to be friendly, welcoming, fantastic company and they are some of the most committed Stoke fans I have ever met.
