Cockney Ted's a bloody legend, a top top bloke and a very dedicated Stokie who travels up from south London every game.

I was unfortunate enough to be sat by him at Leyton Orient last season and his behaviour was so unbearable that it nearly put my missus off from attending future matches.
It was only West Ham away that convinced her otherwise.

It's ya own fault for taking your missus to the footie.

I have known Cockney Ted for 30 yrs, a fantastic fan. His passion for Stoke is unrivaled. Legend. Cockney Steve is getting there though. Even though he is a Cant.

I also found him unbearable and i'm certainly no shrinking violet when it comes to supporting my team.
It was him shouting something like 'fuck off you cockney wankers' in a broad cockney accent that didn't quite sit with me.

Oh dear I see what you mean now. One should think about a box maybe for the next game????

Ha. You misinterpreted the focus of my annoyance, it wasn't the 'fuck off you cockney wankers' bit that got me; it was the fact that it was a cockney shouting it. It made him look a bit stupid in my opinion.
Each to their own though.

Lol. Only winding ya mate. I remember him shouting that at Chelsea (I think) last season. It does sound strange but you don't have to be from the town/city to support the club. The shit are a fantastic example of this. ;D

He is a great bloke. Every time I see him he will have a conversation with me about something or other, he always starts off with 'Alright San'and if you saw him on the table in Weatherspoons in Watford you'd know how funny he can be.

Yes, I've known Ted for twenty-three years and it's brilliant when he starts "We support our local team", as he did at Chelsea last season, in a broad southeast London (not cockney, sorry) accent.
Top Stokie; did you know that in the 1960's he hitchiked to home games?!?!?

This guy had me in stitches at portsmouth last season, really laying it on thick and waving money at the pompy fans, brilliant.

Good lad, along with his fellow cockney Steve and his bunch Benno, Stan etc, proper old skool Stokies, too old fight but still like the buzz of following Stoke all over the country.
Talking of Cockneys, does Cockney Darren still go? Not seen him for a few years?
