Thanks Lenny, you were the reason we went up. Performances against Scunthorpe, Coventry and countless other games got us up and you were the man behind it all. Fuller was awesome, but you were priceless - the best player in the division by far - you changed games and when you came on and scored at the Ricoh was my first adult tears at a football match All the best fella, hope we sign you back one day.

One of my favourite ever players. Think he's too good for Portsmouth but Good Bye and Good Luck Liam Same as that. Will certainly go down as one of our best ever signings considering how much he came here for and how much we got out of him in terms of pushing the club into new territory. He'll be great for Portsmouth, pretty certain of that. Still a very good footballer, probably the right time for him to leave though.

Think Pompey are pretty under-whelmed by the signing. They don't know what a player they've got on their hands. Providing he can stay fully fit and he starts every week, he will be a great player for them, will be without doubt one of the best players in the CC.
Good luck Liam.

Thanks for the memories Liam, I will always class you up among the Stoke City Legends.
He may not be bothered, but he doesn't know how much I, and many other stokies are grateful of him.
Good luck.

I'm surprised he hasn't made it to another prem club - he is definitely good enough on his day. I still think Tone should have tried him in the centre - he couldn't be worse than Delap or 1in7Whelan. Ah well, good luck Liam, thanks for your goals in our promotion season!

On the off chance that you're reading this, Liam.
Thanks for the great service, mate. You will ALWAYS get a standing ovation from me, should you return to play at the Brit.

If ever a player can be so slow, and have so little skill can still earn a living in the top league deserves all the support he can get

I still think Lenny would have been our best option in the middle, good range of passing, vision, great from dead ball, scores goals. Played in the middle at Sunderland to. But I'll always remember him for the promo season, first prem goal at the brit, Blackburn and Hull. Great servant to Stoke City!
Really hope he can give Pompy what they need to get back up, would love to see Lenny at the brit next season, even if it is as a Pompy man!

Liam will be rightly remembered as a Stoke legend. He played a MAJOR part in our dramatic rise and he should always be remembered for his massive part in our promotion and stabilising us in the top flight.
I'd love us to draw Pompey in one of the cups so he can get the send off he richly deserves

I really hope that if he ends up missing a game with suspension, or if we've got a game at an odd time when Portsmouth aren't play, he comes to the Brit to do the half time draw or something so that we can give him a proper send off.

Liam was a major part in our promotion and also in staying up in the first year.
We have had great value for money from him and it would be churlish if he didn't go with the best wishes of all our supporters.
For whatever reason, Liam didn't appear quite the same player last season so hopefully this move will give his career a kick start again.
