Chears Liam for the memories, Great player in the champ and having the nerve for the Villa pen. Great passion allways gave 110% in a stoke shirt, Shame you cant beat a first man when crossing and could tell end of last season you wanted to stay when driving outside the ground. Respect the way you treated the fans.. Shame Dog gate happened..
Good luck Liam.

Big thanks from me to LL. Star of the whole Championship when we went up, and some important goals in the first year too.
Best of luck

Thanks Liam.
The goal at Wolves that made it 2-2 and lead to us winning 4-2 was the day we all started dreaming.
The winner at Coventry when we were all getting the jitters.
The splapping of the EPL badge after scoring our first ever Prem goal at the Brit, you knew how precious those badges were (are!!).
The wonder goal at Hull last season.
I've been going for 25+ years, and you are a true Stoke City Hero.
Effort, Commitment, Desire, will to win and talent.

Heartfelt thanks Liam. An integral part of this incredible journey over the last few years.
Not just the incredible Coventry goal. Remember the circumstances. It all semed to be going wrong, and Liam came off the bench, back from injury to score "that goal" and put our promotion push back on track. His overall cotriibution has been massive.
Breathtaking, quality strikes against Ipswich, QPR and the winner against Scunny (made by Ric), and that peach against Hull.
Good luck, and thanks for the great memories.

I dont think that his importance to Stoke City football club could be underestimated. He was simply sensational in our promotion season, unlucky with the whole "incident" that led to his injury as if he could have stayed fit and continued tthat form in the Prem he is more then good enough for this level of football. We will never forget your massive influence on the club and hope you get on really well with Pompey and continue your excellent international form

Hellu Liam! Most of the time with a happy smile on your face. I will remember You for that. And your feet of course... In competition with Walters, Pennant, Delap, it could have been difficult to play First team football on a regular basis. You were excellent at times before the injuries You had. Hopefully, show more at Pompey than the last year here. And it's difficult to show anything, when not playing... Hope You will now. See You in the FA Cup final! //:musik

Great player for us and all the best at Pompey
A lot of people have mentioned your goals vs Villa, Cov and Hull etc but your pass to Ric for his goal against Villa was truly world class

Is this really how this ends? A relationship with the manager damaged by a stupid 'dog' incident and a season of disappointing performances and absence from a team crying out for balance on the right hand side. There's a bit of a story that we don't really know from behind the scenes, but what a shame that his Stoke City career ends with him being shoved out of a side door as a makeweight in a deal to get us a new midfielder and get rid of a ginger mardarse. I shan't forget his goal at Coventry, the screamer against Ipswich, the penalty against Villa or the massively important winner at home against Blackburn two years ago. He'll do a bloody good job at Portsmouth.

Liam would have still got in my starting 11 until the moment he left.
Part of our best Premiership midfield at the end of our first season.
He will take alot of replacing.

As others have said, that goal at Cov will long live in the memory and of course, Lenny scored the first ever Prem goal at the Brit.
Even more than Cressers, he played a huge role in getting us to where we are now.

Good luck Lennie. One of the genuine modern greats at Stoke. His commitment could never be questioned and, as mentioned, his contribution during 07/08 was simply outstanding. It's just a shame it had to end on such a sour note.
He'll get a standing ovation from me if he ever comes up against us again. Top lad.

Would have loved the chance to clap him off in the 89th minute in his last game. Some players need to be slung out, Liam deserved to be carried aloft with us singing his name. His effort and desire spoke volumes and his assists and goals were priceless.
One of the legends of my time.
Good luck and God bless.
