Liam Lawrence is sent with our best HEARTFELT wishes, he has been an EXCELLENT servant to the club, and we all (I hope) thank him for a memorable 07/08 and will never forget the penalty against Villa.
A real end of an era!
THANK YOU LAWRENCE!

Thank you Liam Lawrence. He's provided us with some crucial and memorable goals - the penalty at home to Aston Villa, the winner versus Blackburn and that thumper at Hull away to seal survival. All the goals in our promotion season were crucial, but that one at Coventry will always be remembered above all of them for me.

Best of luck at Pompey and for the rest of your international career
Many many vital contributions, and guaranteed a good reception if ever returning to play at the Brit

Good luck Liam. You have my best wishes.
Not sure what happened between Pulis and Liam. No sooner did he have absolute stormers against France in the WC play-off than he gets dropped by Pulis.

Absolutely, that was THE day we really believed we were going up. Totally totally agree Jamo, Cov away is and always will be in my top 10 games. I think Lenny thought we were a car full of mentalists chasing after him down the toll road chanting his name as the lads were hanging out of the car windows!

Sad to see Liam go and wish him all the luck in the world for both his club and international career.
He will always be remembered for his memorable performances and goals in our promotion year - especially the Coventry goal.
Good luck Liam - thanks for the memories, they're priceless!!

He has been a fantastic player for Stoke but made the mistake that others have made and crossed TP. Shame to see him go and our loss is Pompeys gain as he was awesome in the Championship but as others have said lost his way with the dog falling incident!

Good luck Liam....you've been a great servant to the club and the Coventry winner always stays in my mind..as well as that screamer you scored against Ipswich. Hope all goes well at Portsmouth and it wont be long to see the name Liam Lawrence in the premiership once again..

It got ugly towards the end and that's sad, Lenny was crucial in getting us promoted and finding our feet in the Prem. Like Darren Huckerby he's one of those who looks too good for the Champ and for whatever reason has never cracked the Prem, but if he becomes the key player I suspect he will for Pompey and they make it back up in the next 2/3 years, hope he gets one last chance at it. Thanks for everything Lenny and we won't mention the 'dog' xxxx

Farewell Liam and thanks for what you've done to help our club. You're a Stoke City hero, without a doubt. Forget everything else, this was THE goal that won Stoke promotion! that did indeed win us pomotion what a sixpack shame about falling over the "dog" good luck liam

It's a real shame that this is how LL's Stoke career ends.
Quite possible that we wouldn't be where we are without him.
Hope he can revitalise his career - should never have to buy a drink in this city again for his contribution in that promotion season.

Liam - thanks for your crucial contribution to Stoke. Without your input it is highly unlikely we would now be in the Premier League. I will never forget your goal at the Ricoh against Coventry. It was the first game I attended after missing all the games from December 2007 due to having major heart surgery and I knew that day that we were destined for promotion. I wish you all the best for the future and am so grateful for your immense impact at our club. Cheers GB

Sorry to see Lennie go in some respects, he's still got it and was a Stoke City hero in his time here. I'm not sure of all of the goings on or why he was so keen to jump ship to Celtic (which never came off of course).
Still, Lennie I wish you well at Pompey and thanks for the memories.
Oh and as for Kitson, thanks for fuck all.

Certainly won't be getting a bad reception from me next time he's down the Brit. One of the few Stoke players I've met, top bloke and our first ever Premiership scorer. All the best. Wasnt that Fuller at Bolton?

It's a real shame it ended this way. I still think he is good enough for the prem but it was obvious there was no future for him at Stoke. I'll always remember his hit trick away at bansley and scoring that last minute pen. Good luck Liam.
