Despite all the great signings on transfer deadline day Liam leaving cast a bit of a big cloud for me. A true Stoke legend who I'll be forever grateful too.
Thanks Lennie & all the best.

Totally gutted that lenny has left, I doubt he wanted to go pompey, and he could do better. Also feel really sorry that he's beenn lumped with that ginger tosser aswell!
Coventry away was my first away game, what a memory! goal against blackburn at home aswell that virtually secured prem status.
Total legend, and deserves a massive applause if he ever plays against us. Really hope he does aswell.
Nice one Spitroast!!!

I never reallu thought that Liam was given a fair crack at the prem in the second half of 08/09 we really started to pull together and ground out some reaaly good and needed wins at times.
However last season I thought he was treated harshly but he never complained our 2 best games last season against Fulham and Blackburn (Both at home) came with liam in the team. he gave us the balance that we lacked with Delap on the right side of midfield

I'd just like to pass on my sincere thanks to Liam for the service he gave to my club for the past 4 years. After nigh on 40 years of supporting Stoke, the past 3 years have once again made me proud of the way my team is now standing alongside the greats of this country again. That is down in no small way to the likes of Liam Lawrence. Liam, you will be remembered fondly in this great City of ours for evermore.
